I know this sounds naive but there won't be more corona lockdowns since they are an unpopular position and can make Biden look good if the narrative is spun to say that he saved America from Corona

plus doing lockdowns would be a detriment to many of Biden's donors in the entertainment industry

Yeah, but the first lockdowns came when we seeing like 20,000 new cases a day. Yesterday we had 132,000 new cases, and deaths seem to be slowly trending back upwards as well. I'm not a lockdown advocate, but how else is Biden gonna handle it without antivirals or a vaccine since neither one of those seem to be coming soon? Just ignore it? A lot of his campaign hinged on convincing a lot of his base that if they go outside they get rona, and if they get rona they're as good as dead. Most of the liberals I know are super paranoid about going out and doing stuff, want to keep their kids at home on Zoom, and voted for Biden exactly because Trump didn't all put us on house arrest (the irony being they got mad at him for NOT acting like a dicator )

Anyway it's gonna get worse as the weather gets more favorable to transmission, people are saying fuck it and planning holiday parties, and we all cram back together indoors for most of the day. I don't think he'll have much of a choice, after all the rhetoric about the president having the blood of every corona victim on his hands
