U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

Remains to be seen if he truly practices what he preaches, but at this point, I'm willing to give anyone a chance that can mostly form coherent sentences.
As much as I'd like to be hopeful Biden can make good on his vow to unite and heal the country, I'm not :optimistic: at all about it. When my state's governor was elected, she promised more bipartisanship (largely because both parts of the state legislature remained Republican) but she's failed to deliver. Any time something she wants gets nixed by the legislature or struck down by a state court, she responds with equal parts of pettiness and passive-aggressiveness -- more-so than what's normally expected in partisan politics.

With Biden offering little more than a lukewarm "Please don't be violent, ok guize?" to the PNW protestors while demanding Trump outright condemn the Proud Boys and other "hate groups", Biden may find himself dealing with a fragmented voter base that could very well implode on itself during his term in office if he can't find some way to appeal to both the normies that voted for him and the far left SocJus/IdPol crowd. Another hindrance will be the fact that Republicans still control the US Senate. It's all but certain they will treat Biden the same way the US House has treated Trump over the last two years when they often voted against key legislation on party lines more to make a political statement and less on the legislation's merits.

TL;DR - It'd be nice to see the political climate improve in any measurable way under President-Elect Biden, and he deserves a chance to try to make it happen, but it presently seems doubtful at best.

I don't think the world is necessarily as bad as the media and internet make it seem, there's a lot of bad in this world, but a lot of good too, and I'm ready to make baby steps towards a better future!
I'll agree that the media, both mainstream and social, is probably the biggest catalyst for all the misinformation, distrust, and discord we're presently seeing across the country. However, that won't change until more people are willing and able to stop taking everything the media presents at face value and start thinking for themselves. We need more people who decide on their own that they want to do some sort of good or bridge building instead of whatever the media tells them they should do -- usually stuff that furthers the wedge between people.

Until then, those silently doing good will continue to be drowned out by both the minority of extreme evildoers and the larger crowd looking to find some way to dismiss their good deeds as problematic or -ist in some way. *sigh*

Even before social media went to total shit there were retards saying Obama was racist and not progressive enough. Even with Biden winning it's gonna continue. To these psychos the existence of one white person means there's racism and not enough diversity.

Obama kept the race grievance to a minimum. He mostly reserved it* for speeches and usually only when something blew up that he had to respond to. The Henry Louis Gates thing was outside of his scope, but inviting Gates and the cop to have a chat is the literal opposite of what BLM race grievers want. And, of course, since he didn't push race enough, BLM race grievers see him as "racist".

*I should specify, he kept it to a minimum when in the public eye. Behind the scenes, his Department of Education tried to force equality of outcome on schools' discipline of black students, under the assumption that black kids are disciplined more because they're black and not because they're worse behaved with parents who don't give a fuck.

So I guess there was a shooting at the Biden celebration rally in Seattle.

On the one hand, it's annoying that getting shot by the cops is a get-out-jail-free card.
Being a cripple for life isn't exactly "free." And someone's criminal case shouldn't be affected by the fact that other people chimped out about it. That's the kind of bullshit they're trying to do to all the other cops other than Chauvin in that case, and for that matter, Chauvin himself. I don't think they can convict him, at least of murder of any sort, and the only reason they're even trying is politics.

On one hand Obama pushed "racial education" nonsense and on the other he and VP Biden build cages, deported millions of people and militarized the police. It's as if he was raising blacks to be the rioters we see them today in order to strengthen a police state...Ok ok I stop with this conspiracy talk now.

I think Dem's have no path forward after this election. Everything they do is going to piss off someone and even with all their shenanigans they have a razor thin win.
Fuck it, call me foolish, but I'm gonna give Biden a chance. Dude's obviously not all there, but at least it sounds like he's willing to reach across the aisle instead of keeping us divided. Biden can say whatever he wants because Kamala is going to be running the show. Haven't heard her say much of anything.

How long do you think ti will be before burn loot murder turn on Harris because she married a white man? Well, Jewish, I know, but if anything, burn loot murder despise Jews more than white people.

Perfect. Reporting completely wrong or faked shit is their MO.
"What is the cost of lies? It's not that we'll mistake them for the truth. The real danger is that if we hear enough lies, then we no longer recognize the truth at all. What can we do then? What else is left to abandon even the hope of truth and content ourselves with stories?"

In hindsight, makes me wonder how Trump’s re-election odds would’ve looked if he had just went “fuck optics” and crushed the riots with the Insurrection Act. Would it have made a difference or just make him look an ever bigger Lolcow?
they wanted him to use the insurrection act, it's why they pushed so hard on him for not using it. they could have very, very easily spun an even harsher "trump is a fascist" narrative, and MSM is the entire reason why we're where we are. maybe some of them will do a little more introspection and realize people are having their lives ruined and dying as a direct result of their lies. but probably not, the other side of that problem is that a large number of our elites are completely divorced from the realities of the lives of those they govern. see: AOC claiming cauliflower is white supremacy or colonization or whatever and everyone should grow yucca instead...ignoring the fact that yucca has a much more limited growing range.

A BLM guy was killed, supposedly by Trump supporters. I wonder what the media will do with this..

View attachment 1715931

There seems to be no evidence of this being true at all.

So Trump supporters "allegedly" attempted to run down an old couple and this guy was killed saving them?

Also, are we sure that's not a butch lesbian? Look at those thighs.

If Trump loses the litigation and Biden is in, at least the riots may "conveniently" end, along with coronapanic.
Do you think it will put an end to the corona nonsense? And as for the riots, sure they might end for now, but they'll crop up any and every time the left has a bone to pick. On the same way capitulating to a tantruming toddler will teach it poor behaviour gets the results it wants, this is what they have learned works, and worse, they know that Dem controlled cities will allow them to riot and loot and burn and murder with impunity, sanctioned by the authorities.

I am going to have to disagree with you on that friend.
Kamala is a nobody who only got picked at the last second because of her skin and gender. She didn't build any part of the machine.
The faceless unknowns behind the Biden machine are the ones who will be running the show. Biden/Kamala are just figure heads. The fun will be if they later get to uppity and start deciding that they are actually in charge.

I really hate Current Year.
This nonsense has been gathering steam for a very long time, far before this year or even decade. What we're seeing has been building and coming for a long time. In a way, it's people reaping what they've sown.

Biden was anti the scrapping of segregation in schools, right? I wonder how receptive he would be if burn, loot, murder, demanded the creation of a seperate black state within the USA.
