I'm pretty sure the Biden-bros in this thread are going to be on suicide watch if Trump starts reclaiming states in the recounts. Then, all of a sudden, instead of talking about how voter fraud is a right wing conspiracy, they'll be bitching about "voter suppression" and that Trump got thousands of mail-in ballots thrown out on a "legal technicality."

You guys are riding way too high considering what happened in 2000, especially considering that we're literally in what the democrats described as a "nightmare scenario" a few months back: Trump legally changes the results of the election and the supreme court (potentially) rules in his favor.

Thomas's intellect is routinely underestimated literally because he makes a science of never saying anything, ever. So when he does actually say something you should pay attention because he makes his few words matter. The Democrats derailed their attempt to keep him off the Supreme Court by turning it into a proto-metoo bullshit campaign that ultimately gained him more sympathy than opprobrium. And they never learned from this bullshit and continue to do it and fail to every Republican SCOTUS nominee. It's embarrassing and it needs to stop.

That's part of it, but the other half is that he has always been in the shadow of fellow originalist Scalia, who is almost certainly the most influential conservative Supreme Court Justice in the modern era.

Contrary to popular belief, though, he isn't just a clone. Scalia ultimately, when put to the test, sided with the current prevailing wisdom that the Commerce Clause is a "do anything for free forever" grant of ultimate power to Congress so long as they say a couple magic words about "interstate commerce" while doing something. Thomas is having none of that shit, and is possibly the only Justice on the Supreme Court who fully rejects the concept of Wickard v. Filburn and would overrule it given the chance.

2020, we're looking at what? trump needs to get recounts in 3 or more states, and win all of them to come out on top? it's not gonna happen lol

Even if Trump only manages to flip one state and still loses, there will be people who will go from saying that "fraud is impossible" to "Trump committed election fraud" instantaneously. There would be an outcry for election reform from almost everyone and neither party would act on it in any meaningful way, which would be hilarious!

They are flooding every independent board (KF, 4Chan, etc) with slide threads to attempt to demoralize the opposition because of how NOT SCARED they are. They are only right about one thing: We ARE mad and seething right now.
Not because we're afraid we're going to lose -- but because they would even DARE to try to pull this shit in the first place. They would gleefully and sadistically DESTROY the cornerstone of the Republic just because they didn't like the results of a free and fair election. If there is one thing in America that is considered to be Heresy, it is this, and their side is undeniably guilty. That is why we are really mad.

What the Democrats have done here is unforgivable, and all of them must face serious punishment for this. The kind of punishment that will deter anyone else from every trying anything like this again. After the next round of Nuremburg trials we are going to have to break some of the ringleaders on the wheel. Some will have to be drawn and quartered. While I definitely agree it's unlikely, it's still the same concept.

In 2000, Florida started out blue but flipped red in the recount.

Trump needs to have several of the same wins in a row. Unlikely, but anything's possible.

The recount isn't what's threatening Biden. It's the election audits. If a mostly red state like Georgia finds fraud in their audit, their state legislature could end up choosing the electors for their state directly, rather than based on what the popular vote is.
