Not filing her taxes may actually be to her detriment in her case. I doubt she earns enough to be considered middle-class and is single so she would most likely not pay anything extra. She loses the ability to get any sort of financial assistance that she could have access to if she ran her YouTube channel like a legitimate business. That is why anyone with a minimum amount of foresight will educate themselves and/or hire someone so that they can maximize their earnings while saving as much money as possible.

The silver lining is that she burns all her disposable income on fast food and junk so she pays plenty of sales taxes.

No. She’d have to keep all her receipts. If she was able to do that, she can claim them and a percentage of it (for food, it might be between 20%-50% deduction) can be deducted from her revenue.
