If they find any fraud and undo it, the left will immediately clam the RNC is stealing the election. 100%.

No matter what outcome, half the country is going to think the other half stole this election.

The only nice thing is that if it's the half on the left, then the half on the right will actually have proof they STOPPED a steal. That might be the most stable of all situations, cause election reform will be on the table everywhere, and the DNC will be cowed and want AOC et all's heads on a fucking platter.

They won't need to go that far. They're going to instead say that Trump used his stacked court to steal the election.
If Trump wins because of this, they have only themselves to blame. Even if Trump won under a fairer election, they would still claim he cheated, seeing as the idea that people actually like him seems unfathomable to these types.

Muh optics

1. Who gives a fuck what it looks like to the media.
2. Who gives a fuck what it looks like to Biden voters. Because...
3. There's 70 million Trump voters too.

Lincoln's optics were either always utter shit or almost always utter shit until the fall of 1864 and he gave zero fucks and saved the Union. Fuck optics. Not counting hundreds of thousands of invalid votes is more important than muh optics. Way more

OH NO THIS IS NOT GOOD

“In Pennsylvania, three Republican leaders told me they had already discussed the direct appointment of electors among themselves, and one said he had discussed it with Trump’s national campaign.

“I’ve mentioned it to them, and I hope they’re thinking about it too,” Lawrence Tabas, the Pennsylvania Republican Party’s chairman, told me. “I just don’t think this is the right time for me to be discussing those strategies and approaches, but [direct appointment of electors] is one of the options. It is one of the available legal options set forth in the Constitution.” He added that everyone’s preference is to get a swift and accurate count. “If the process, though, is flawed, and has significant flaws, our public may lose faith and confidence” in the election’s integrity.

Jake Corman, the state’s Senate majority leader, preferred to change the subject, emphasizing that he hoped a clean vote count would produce a final tally on Election Night. “The longer it goes on, the more opinions and the more theories and the more conspiracies [are] created,” he told me. If controversy persists as the safe-harbor date nears, he allowed, the legislature will have no choice but to appoint electors. “We don’t want to go down that road, but we understand where the law takes us, and we’ll follow the law.”

Republicans control both legislative chambers in the six most closely contested battleground states. Of those, Arizona and Florida have Republican governors, too. In Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, the governors are Democrats.”

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
DIRECT APPOINTMENT IS BEING DISCUSSED
OH NO NO NO!!!
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.gif

with shit like this being pumped out nigh-on constantly you have to wonder why boomers even bother with legacy media anymore
Because boomers are all past 60-70 now and becoming increasingly senile and out of touch prunes.

As expected.
You think the fags in corona threads might finally acknowledge how suspicious this shit is or embrace it like lapdogs?

Didn't the Democrats ignore state-level legislature for years now? Letting them be captured by Rs, sometimes in super-majority numbers.

It really is now coming back to bite them in the ass.

"What do you mean? There are more people in these flyover states than us?" - The 1% coastal elites

Is this good or bad? AAAAAAAAA PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN!
It means a few things. Right now, its a force. "Biden, publicly support the inquiry or lose." What @HumanHive hasn't brought up is that it is an out, a method by which the democrats could possibly save face without having to admit wrong doing. Or, to put it in my two terms. Its putting their balls in a vice, but not pushing their back to a wall.

Something to note: even if the lid gets fully blown off and the fraud laid plain for all to see, plenty of Leftists (and not just career politicians but civilians too) will be perfectly fine with it. I’m willing to bet they aren’t nearly as dumb as they seem; anyone with a brain can see something’s not right here. I think this is more of a “the ends justify the means” rhetoric than anything else.

Even IF Trump takes this back, the Left will further demonize him and contend that fraud and MSM manipulation were necessary evils to dethrone Cheeto Hitler.

That’s how far gone they are now. They’ll sacrifice Democracy itself at the altar of Progress.
This is why we cannot compromise. Don't be an optics cuck. Just be ready for calls of REEEE SLAVE OWNERS CONSTITUTION OUT OF DATE REEEEE

It would be fucking hard to rig state-level elections because there are so fucking many of them.
It means the State Legislatures in PA are considering whether to say that the PA final result is fraudulent and that the state’s electoral votes will go to whomever the state legislature wishes. While this is good in the immediate, if this rubicon is crossed then Democrats may go full Order 66 and do the same against Trump or some future candidate. However, from a less doomer view, it means that PA democrats are getting encircled. SC from one side, legislature on the other. They stall, direct appointment.
That's how it used to be done. Hardly anybody voted in the 1788 election because electors were straight appointed in states except PA and MD, and maybe a couple of others without an election for example, so this is not without precedent. PA doing this would be pure pottery.

It makes perfect sense when you look at their long-term plan. The Democrats want all power centralized on the Federal level. They have many of reasons to think that, some cynical, some earnest, but that's their plan. So, if they think they rule from the top down, they also conclude they can focus all their efforts on the top level of government and forget the lower rungs since they'll just be able to overrule them when they take power.

On a note- regarding the current Twitterstorm on Emily Murphy (may we all grant her strength), is this administration access by the 'president-elect' policy, or just decorum?

I have a gut feeling that it's another Dem tactic to force the 'transition process' from the backend, getting reports they normally would not receive otherwise, and continuing to push the 'inevitability' of a Biden Presidency. Likewise, it's likely also a coordinated media tactic to browbeat any holdouts- report on a 'bad person' and let the Liberal Twitter mobs do the rest.

What are the actual consequences to the people* who would choose direct appointment? I'm talking about actual people, not the party reputation virginity muh constitution or anything like that.

What happens to the career of a person who is supposed to give 12 Eurovision electoral votes to Biden but chooses Trump instead? Do they have enough incentive to commit...seppuku? Damnatio memoriae? Permaban from kiwifarms? What's the punishment? Would it be an acceptable loss for the actual person compared to handing out the country to the DNC traitors of the nation?

*And why the fuck is the electoral system so complicated, Christ you have supreme courts, state supreme courts, electors, judges that allow recounting only to fellow Republicans, governors, senators and probably a few thousand of their escorts and traps stagists and personal assistants

Its not that they ignored them, its that they couldn't. They are running out of cash. Obama, thank you SO much you egotistical ass, pilfered the coffers of the DNC. George Soros has been repeatedly rejected and sought to instead put all his money into AG races, which he won but... those were all 'good' mainly off the idea the Supreme Court would remain democrat. This would give the left complete control of the on the ground and highest positions.

Well, Hillary tried to fund the DNC and then the plan from there was simple, funnel money into it when she wins, then use the mid term elections to secure utter majority. Soros secured the judiciary, Hillary secured the executive, and the mid terms (now with the DNC full of cash) would fill the legislature.

Except one problem.

One little problem.

Trump won.

Now the IRS WOULD take note of any money funneling into the DNC, so there went the ability to pay for legislature races. And he got three scotus appointees, so even if the AGs were democrat... they'll get fucking destroyed when it went up the chain.

THIS is why they are cheating so hard now. Their plan wasn't only delayed, it was derailed entirely.

Suicide by three taps to the back of the head.

Most likely? Nothing, because the country is so polarized. They'd just get yelled at by the media.
