There is one piece of speculation, though, fro my browsing Twitter: if Democrats did pull out 'emergency Democrat votes' in support of Joe Biden and express willingness in 'packing the Supreme court', then why did not pull out 'emergency Democrat votes' that would have supporte Democratic members of the House and Senate?

I think someone said that the Democrats didn’t expect such a high turnout from the republicans base, especially for Trump. And considering that most house and senate races ended on Election Day, sans a select few, they made a judgment call, which is how we got here.
