They would go to court and be tried in front of a jury. Usually have to pay a fine afterwards. Also, each point is handed over by a separate person. A (smart)Democrat judge would also let a fair recount happen because corrupt judges that aren’t arrested and tried usually get shot. As in the federal government would have to press charges quickly because if the government refuses to clear out a corrupt judge, good luck finding a “jury of one’s peers” in that locality willing to convict the guy that kills him instead.

Being completely fair, any amount of information is going to come from sources of questionable repute because the media will drag its ass on the floor until it can scream a fixed story. Also take into account how recently this may have happened, so all we can do - agonizingly - is wait for further substance to materialize.

Just remember Jeff Davis was pardoned because the federal government was afraid to put him on trial and be proven wrong on the issue of secession. But yes, I understand your point.

I'm kind of impressed. They went through the trouble of printing out fake ballots for it? Usually these morons skimp on the props.

As far as I am concerned I am going to treat the article as fake news until either other websites report on it or the state of Wisconsin (or their legisilature) makes an offical change confirming that.

Also the article is slightly dishonest in it's title: It doesn't completely remove Biden's lead, only cuts it down to within a few thousand votes if True.

That's the best way to go about it. Look for the official sources. Otherwise we'll be bouncing from one fake/unconfirmed story to another from here to December.

Still, I want to stress McConnell switching teams in 3 days is a big deal. He went from talking to Biden to approve his cabinet like it was business as usual to supporting Trump.

What changed to make him come out of his shell and stick his neck out? He wouldn't unless he had an extremely good reason that he would benefit from.
