Kind of weird he’s still pushing for the recount while preparing for a next time.

This is likely part of the media campaign that's trying to paint Trump as crushed, pathetic, and beset upon by all his allies.
Mr Trump’s aides and allies have hinted at a return in four years as well.

Until Trump himself says something, never believe anything the MSM ever says about him.

What is this, theology?

We're supposed to be sperging out about Biden or something! reeeeeeeeee /sarc

(yes I went with one that had some theology thrown in for the extra irony)
That unity tho
Until Trump himself says something, never believe anything the MSM ever says about him.
Exactly. Anonymous sources claimed Melania was pushing Trump to concede, then a half hour later she tweeted that we have to find out about any fraud to have an open and honest election.

I don't really believe it, but at the same time what they might be hearing is.. well, wargaming "If we lose here, what is our plan next". Planning for a potential 2024 run AND trying to win this one aren't mutually exclusive things, you can do both to have both bases covered.

All those maps indicate to me is that giving women and black people the vote was a terrible mistake.
Hasn't the phrase "working class" used by both Republicans and Democrats frequently?
Is everyone a white supremacist now?
And Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, Che, etc... etc... etc... It was also a mistake to allow clerks, servers etc. to identify as the working class. They have co-opted it, and now pretend they are the salt of the earth if they work at a fucking Starbucks. My ancestry of miners, farmers, loggers and fishermen recoils in horror.
Was replying to everyone, not just you (I probably should have included even more in that bit).

And like I already said: I understand, in every group of sufficient size there will be idiots.

Also you are confusing respect for affection. Go back and reread those verses. "Obey" some translations use "respect." In no translation can I find "love" as a command to authority. It's just a simple observation that some people are going to like some leaders more than others.

"Overt" democracy? Um... yeah I think requesting that all votes be counted and making sure fraud is rooted out to be pretty overt about democracy.

Weird phrasing though.

So you say but your avatar presents a strong counter argument.
That avatar is probably my favourite one I've seen on KF.

To be honest, i hope that things will work out well for Trump. But even if Trump doesn't win, we have to look on the bright side. Republicans hold the Senate and the House. So, Biden will have a harder time to do things. I mean we already have people regretting that they voted for Biden. And we have around 450,000 votes that were illegally counted in Pennsylvania.

So all in all, this election is a victory for the Republicans. No matter what happens.

Bryon York senpai never fails!
Many Democrats and their allies in the media are angry that President Trump has accused Joe Biden and Democrats of cheating to win the presidency. No doubt some are frustrated, even in victory. But why should they be surprised when Trump says the other side cheated? After all, they said the same thing four years ago after the 2016 election.

And they didn't do it for just a week or two. Democrats pressed the cheating accusation to extraordinary lengths, month after month, and year after year, inflicting as much damage on Trump's presidency as they possibly could. Today, after the 2020 vote, Trump's accusations won't have the same effect — they will be dismissed and then ignored by much of the media, as opposed to 2016-2019 when comparably groundless anti-Trump allegations were given daily headlines. But the fact is, in the Trump era, some Democrats made a false accusation of cheating part of their political strategy. They are in a poor position to complain about it now.

The accusation was, of course, that Trump won in 2016 by conspiring with Russia to influence the election. Some Democrats, like Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook, began suggesting Trump was conspiring with Russia in the summer when the campaign was reaching full speed. Then the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid a former British spy to compile a dossier of false allegations claiming Trump-Russia collusion. "Collusion," in the context of the 2016 election, was a synonym for "cheating."

Then it was off to the races. On Jan. 6, 2017, two weeks before Trump was inaugurated, Congress met in joint session to certify the results of the Electoral College. It had historically been a ceremonial, pro-forma event. But several House Democrats tried to block certification of various state results. Rep. Barbara Lee objected to certification "on behalf of the millions of Americans, including members of the Intelligence Community, who are horrified by evidence that the Russians interfered in our election." The objectors lacked any support in the Senate, so the presiding officer — it was then-Vice President Joe Biden — struck them down.

On March 20, 2017, then-FBI Director James Comey made huge news when he announced that the bureau was investigating "whether there was any coordination" between the Trump campaign and Russians seeking to interfere with the election.

On May 17, 2017, the cheating allegation was weaponized with the appointment of Trump-Russia special counsel Robert Mueller, who was assigned to search for coordination between Trump and Russia. The question of whether Trump conspired or coordinated with Russia to gain an unfair advantage in the election was at the heart of the investigation.

By the end of 2017, it was clear inside the Mueller investigation that the special counsel had been unable to establish that conspiracy or coordination even took place, much less who might have taken part in it. But Mueller allowed his investigation to drag on as his prosecutors searched for alleged obstruction of justice. In the meantime, the cheating allegation hung in the air and regularly found its way into news reporting.

On May 1, 2018, for example, there was a spate of collusion stories. "Tonight on All In," MSNBC anchor Chris Hayes said that evening, "the clearest window yet into the Russia probe and signs that Mueller already has evidence of collusion." On CNN, analyst Jeffrey Toobin declared, "This is an investigation about collusion. The fact that the president keeps saying over and over again, there was no collusion, there was no collusion, that has not been established and in fact there is lots of evidence that collusion did take place ..."

What had been established, although Toobin and other commentators, not to mention the general public, did not know it at the time, was that Mueller could not establish that conspiracy or coordination took place. Americans did not learn that definitively until the release of the Mueller report in April 2019, nearly two years after the special counsel's investigation began. "The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities," the report said. It repeated that statement a number of times in the 400-plus page document.

Finally, after all the allegations, there was a verdict, from an investigator who had all the money he needed, all the staff he needed, all the time he needed, and the full law enforcement powers of the U.S. government. Collusion — cheating — had not taken place. Mueller investigated all the major and minor characters of the campaign — Manafort, Gates, Flynn, Papadopoulos, and Page — and never charged any of them with any crime that involved conspiring or coordinating with Russia.

Nevertheless, the cheating allegation had gone on and on — from mid-2016 until mid-2019. It was started and perpetuated by Democrats who sought to accuse Trump of cheating in the 2016 election. Some cling to it even today. In any event, it deeply, and unfairly, scarred the Trump presidency. Many Democrats hoped that it might even be used to remove Trump from office early.

Now, some Democrats say it is time to "heal." And President-elect Joe Biden asks that the accused and those who targeted them "give each other a chance" in the new Democratic administration. Surely no one will be surprised if that doesn't happen.

Is she also a talentless underachiever with no ambitions? Cause the guy I know, since trump got elected, has been more and more socialist in his views. To the point he thinks the government run LRT systems earns the ceos billions while the workers work for peanuts. He has never done anything with his life, and I am wondering if that might be a large factor in the lower class.
I really don't know. We only talk once on a blue moon cause are grandparents are church friends and we're both from a very small town where everyone knows each other. We've both moved away but she's also one of those women that has come to the realization that she's getting too old to have children and so she has to make a show about how glad she is that she didn't have kids (it's quite sad).

Did she actually study history at college? Asking because it's one of the most based departments.
Her family has documents that have been preserved throughout history (mostly Civil War era) that actually give a lot of insight to a variety of things. They're really cool and I can see why it would spark a love of history.

I don't really work in an ultra conservative or ultra liberal workplace and it's pretty much unanimous that this election is suspicious.

Almost every RPer discord I've been in with these vent tabs have people whining about how right wingers are nazis because people on the right tell them to wash their balls or get a job when they whine about not making enough money. And they're always super aggressive when you even slightly disagree or align with right-wing pundits in their struggles with the current system or you criticize Joe Biden. There was one discord I was in where the RL news tab was smugly flaunting about Trump losing the election and I said "Fuck the election and fuck Joe Biden and fuck the media for telling me to celebrate him." and I had said I was generally left leaning in the discord, but one lady who happened to be an officer (women abusing power go figure) went off on me about how she worked her ass off to get Joe Biden in office and she was not going to take insults against her in silence. I told her, "I wasn't insulting you, I just made the choice not to vote for either." And she went "What you just did was insult me. Have a nice day." The other officer, being the cuck that he is, said "let's not kill each other in this thread please" and after a while I clarified I was talking about the media not democrats in general and the cuck said "just drop it". In another discord I was in with this same tab, there was one guy who said taxes should be higher... and he only makes 15k a year therefore taxes don't affect him. Yeah I'm usually seeing some real winners in these discords especially when some like to say they're on welfare or social security because "they're not mentally fit" to work a job.

What the hell? I studied in a hardcore lefty university in Italy and even the girls from the history department were borderline fascist.

He's not, that's demoralization propaganda. Trump knows that this is his only chance. If he loses now not only will another Trump be impossible, but another non-establishment candidate will be impossible, as we become a de facto totalitarian state where elections are about as meaningful as in North Korea.

I don't think the far left actually knows how not to be angry.
“They’re mad! Why are they so mad?!” Candace Owens’ theory about it stemming from them following a Marxist ideology is not deep, but I think it is fairly close to the truth.

It's a shame, no right wing death squads, no tranny death camps, no gays rounded up and shot, no pogroms against immigrants.

I'm a little let down.
It almost made me reconsider if I should vote Trump again. Promises Made, Promises Kept? As if!

My landscaper and maid never were picked up, even when I reported them to ICE for their poor job! Of course, that's a good thing, since who will clean my toilets if they were?
