If whomever the president of the United States is at any given time has that much control over your happiness, you have problems. Why do these people let Trump have so much control over them?
What did cause them all to completely lose their minds over him? Are they just that fucking furious that he took Hillary's turn away?

For the higher ups, he fucked up their money making schemes and under the table deals with foreign powers
For the useful idiots, Communists cant deal with any insult to their religion

That's a really weird main headline when you're 1000% sure the Orange Man is done for. If it's over, why are you giving him any more of your time?

Biden's lawsuit to force a transition makes no sense

He doesn't have to force anything

If the elections are certified with him as the winner, he will be inaugurated on January 20

It's a pathetic attempt to make Trump spend resources on distractions

Their entire strategy has been stupid. Wasted a week trying to bluff Trump and the country into accepting he won that's it

They could have mounted a full throated legal defense. Autistically screeching no evidence muh conspiracies hasnt got them anywhere. Now they're realizing ah shit we are gonna have to fight this for real in court and they've let the GOP steal a march on them there
The allegation is that the longer Trump goes without conceding, the more delays they have with onboarding, clearance filings, and the like.

Thing is, Biden isn't entitled to anything right now. Not a single state has certified their results, even if you disregard pending lawsuits, recounts and audits.

Pretty sure the magic number is always 270, but depending on how things go, there'll be nobody with a majority.

@HumanHive. A candidate still needs 270 to win though.
Do you really though?

I mean, in practice you do in modern times, since two parties are so strong all electors will go to either of two candidates.

But technically I think you only need more than anyone else running.

Yes you do. We do not allow a plurality, only a majority. If you fail to get a majority, it shunts off to congress. This has historically happened... I think once.

So being a non-American retard here...

Why are Postal Inspectors such a big deal?
They have a broader jurisdiction than a lot of law enforcement related agencies and are surprisingly competent at their job when it comes to gathering and presenting prosecutable evidence. Obviously they are not perfect due to the system itself and tons of drugs still find their way through the mail. But once the Postal Inspectors get you in their sights they have iirc the highest conviction success rate of any American law enforcement agency.

If no candidate hits 270 (really 50% +1), it goes to a contingent election, no matter how many candidates are running like in 1824.
