Oh my innocence left the building at the age of 16.

That was more of a general warning to the people, that thread has some messed up shit in it (and I mean this both literally and figuratively, there is a lot of scat art there).

It's just a phenomenon to me how there's alot of gore artists who happen to be Japanese (Or Korean, South East Asian, etc) I just think the gore art is such a weird thing to just look at and see people comment on. I happen to follow a gore artist that does some neat work. It throws me off sometimes.

I also did some really mild gore art in early high school, mainly because I was in my edgy teen phase. Maybe the artist or the commenters are teens who are going through a phase.

An other thing that's possible is that those artists are going through some things and they vent through art. South Asian people are pretty quiet about themselves, their lives and mental health because that's what their society dictates there, they are not as open about their problems as in (for example) the USA. No wonder those countries have some of the highest suicide rates.

Also very true. It's unfortunate that mental illness is STILL treated as a stigma there. I mean it's the same in the US but over there it's fucking bad.

I don’t hate Strong Bad’s humanization(?) that much and think it’s kind of cool but he should still be wearing his mask? You can be expressive in a luchador mask not sure why they removed it. Strong Sad looks like ass though. He should be a balding guy in his 40’s realistically.
