Whether genuine or not, most low level antifa are probably spooked by that quite a bit. They'll probably think they got hacked or something.

As for the fuck the feds stuff, that's pretty common among a certain demographic on the net that typically has a weird overlap with tech and gun enthusiasts who believe in FOSS and individual rights. My guess is that the culture actually became an internet culture when the 3d blueprint controversy went down and they all found each other and memes began, but it's existed for decades loosely. Carnik Con was sort of a mascot for it a few years back, incidentally. I assumed due to the fuck jannies and fuck ATF bits he's a /k/ommando as well so prolly not glow in the dark.

I'm still curious what data they skimmed so if anyone has any idea, please share.

For downloading youtube and twitch vids I use an app '4K downloader'.
Note that there are tons of other apps/websites that can be used to download videos, each has their pros and cons and everybody seems to have their favorite app/website.
I don't want to start a debate here which app is better/the best. The ones I mentioned do their job for me.

I also find the fact she is shit at OPSEC/INFOSEC/PERSEC based on this also horrifying as an elected official with access to so much personal information on the citizen's in her state.

youtube-dl is the one-stop shop for pretty much any online video that isn't paywalled and even then it varies. You can pass creds/tokens to youtube-dl to download things you need to be logged in for.

I think, for me at least, the most sickening part of this whole terrorist rioting shit has been how the elected officials who are supposed to help keep order in America and keep things running the way it is supposed to, are in fact the terrorists.

There was a ton of evidence that the police in the Dreasjon Reed case did nothing wrong. So, what does Congressman Andre Carson, who represents Indiana's 7th district, say on twitter?

Please for the love of whatever Gods there are, let there be some sort of consequence for this disgusting behavior.

Jo Ann Hardesty, the Portland City Comissioner who claimed most calls to the Police are needless, called the Police the other week after a Lyft driver refused to carry her any more. She was chimping out because the driver refused to shut the windows - this is in line with Lyft's policy with the corona virus - and claimed she "did not feel safe" while waiting for a new car to come. Which is funny because she certainly felt safe enough to be out late going to a casino.





If she didn't have a blow 80 IQ, perhaps she would understand the link between "not feeling safe" in the city whose policing she is an important part of setting the budget for, the decreased police presence as a result of her retarded choices and her not feeling safe.


That's a big if, obviously. This is what happens when you employ based on sex and skin colour, not fitness and competence for the role.

Maybe I've missed something but question on the wardriving thing:

They drove around with an open AP yes? And ios+android connect to an open one by default? (mine of both oses dont but I think I'm the one who shut that off)

So how did they get names from that? How did they get more than a wifi mac address and knowledge that phones with particular macs connect to particular facebook/google/reddit/netflix whatever services? Some specific app's traffic (that all the commies had) that's unencrypted and a real name is part of that traffic?


edit to add: Android, starting at version ___ will by default use a fake randomized mac address every time it connects to an ap other than the ap that was used during initial setup. If one connects to the same non-setup ap 100x it will use 100 fake macs one for each connect. Since they're getting real names somehow I doubt mac addresses play into this at all but in my little babby infosec knowledge, mac addresses real or fake as well as servers a person's phone connects to are the only pieces of info *I* with my knowledge today could gain from driving around with an open ap. (unless of course unencrypted traffic from popular-app x,y and z is a normal thing in 2020)

Laugh now, but when you realize that prominent figures in local government are IN that database, it gets more grim the longer it goes.
