Again, I wear masks and do not oppose it. I do oppose people that will nag people that do not wear masks.

Again, I am following CDC guidelines. If people would wear masks, we would slow the spread and be able to go out more without masks. Instead we have tards like you defending anti-maskers and even lying about CDC recommendations and flu data.

I believe when the 2020 Mortality report is released by the CDC it will show that we only had a slight uptick in deaths over the previous years.

COVID seems to kill mostly with other health issues. Such, most those people would have died fairly soon anyways but COVID just made the die a little sooner.
Such the death rate from heart disease, diabetes, obesity, etc. will be down with the difference being made up by COVID.

This entire pandemic response is both unprecedented, and counterproductive at this point. It is not preventing any death. It's delaying it at best.

Meanwhile, in Sweden, they decided to bite the bullet and get it over with, and now this covid is endemic in their population, and while their cases dwarf those in june, their deaths are a statistical anomaly. They aren't experiencing any "second wave". And don't give me any guff about their country being less densely populated, because most of their population lives in three or four major urban centres, with the rest living in a dozen or so smaller towns and cities, and a few percentage points living across the rest of the country.

The masks, social isolation, and lockdowns have created a perfect storm for an increase in deaths from this disease, and for a subsequent wave of suicides and preventable deaths from otherwise routinely treated illnesses and injuries. Our immune systems have been damaged by lack of exposure to others, our minds have been damaged by lack of interaction with others. People are afraid to go outside, they're afraid to touch one another, they're afraid to visit doctors and dentists, and even when they're not afraid to do those things, they can't access services because they're bombarded with bullshit, contradictory, and scientifically illiterate demands on their behaviour.

And people like you, the whining karens who act tough on the internet while cowering away in your little fortified basements, behind towers of toilet paper and useless masks, are the reason this has carried on for as long as it has.
