Why don't you guys stop crying and do something productive with your lives?

Work out, cook, bake, play a game, read a book, go to the cinema, talk to friends etc.

Look for a JOB, look for an EDUCATION? Those are very good assets to make your live better.

Accept the democratic decision of the majority of the United States, move on with your life and stop being into this creepy, nasty and smelly place.

Down with KiwiFarms, Furryphobia, Racism, Prejudice!!! It's over.

Lol. Where the fuck have you been the past four years? Besides fucking dogs or whatever.

Do you know anyone thay quit their job once the handouts started to flow?

I'm running through this audio. Nothing "coercive" in a legal sense. The players here are Hopkins, the postal worker and two federal agents: Klein and Strasser. Strasser does most of the talking. I'll include some timestamps:

7:15 Strasser starts to Mirandize Hopkins
11:20 Hopkins asserts that his background in criminal justice allows him to understand what is going on in the Miranda process.
11:44 Hopkins begins signing the one of the Miranda waivers
12:29 Strasser reads Hopkins his Miranda rights as they walk through the form, starting with the right to remain silent
12:59 Hopkins confirms he understands and signs
13:00 - 13:50 running through other part of the waiver
13:51 Strasser confirms the last part of the Miranda waiver, which asks the subject to sign that the interview is voluntary and the subject can leave at any time
13:53 Hopkins confirms he understands and signs
14:02 Hopkins reads the terms of the waiver aloud, specifically noting that no promises have been made and no coercion has been used against him
14:25 Strasser asks Hopkins to define coercion to confirm he understands what he is agreeing to
14:27 Hopkins provides confirmation he understands
14:28 - 14:54 Strasser provides examples of what coercion is to confirm Hopkins understands
14:55 Hopkins signs the waiver
16:46 Strasser begins asking about Hopkins being contacted by Trump campaign lawyers
16:58 Hopkins states that he has been working through Veritas, and that Veritas states that they have lawyers on retention for him (red flag)
17:07 Hopkins states he has not spoken to a lawyer other than doing the affidavit
17:52 Hopkins confirms he does not have a lawyer representing him personally
18:04 Strasser states that Hopkins could have a lawyer present if he had someone representing him
18:50 - 19:18 Strasser states Hopkins can ask for a break at any time
21:16 Questioning begins and Hopkins starts giving testimony
22:38 Hopkins says he heard one of the ballots not being marked the fourth and not the third
23:04 Strasser starts talking about techniques to "help the mind remember"
23:31 Strasser asks Hopkins for what exactly he heard
24:10 Hopkins says he heard "ballots picked up the Fourth"
24:55 Strasser asks to go to the casing station with Hopkins
24:56 - 27:14 walking to the casing station, Strasser asks about the hours Hopkins works
27:14 - 34:02 Strasser developing trust with Hopkins by talking about military service and such
34:21 Hopkins states they were collecting ballots until the Sixth
34:21 - 36:33 Talking about coworkers and responsibilities they have
36:34 Hopkins states he can only state that one ballot he overheard was marked the Fourth and he is doubting himself
37:30 Hopkins states that his supervisor told him to collect every vote and every vote counts on the Fifth
38:15 Hopkins states he knows nothing about postmarking and it's not his responsibility
39:14 Hopkins states he heard that most of the ballots were on the Third, one was on the Fourth, and he doesn't know more than that
41:45 Hopkins states he only heard part of what was going on and says he could have missed a lot of the context
42:10 Klein starts pressing Hopkins on what he overheard, saying that Hopkins heard weirds and assumed what they were saying
42:15 Hopkins says that his mind added some details
42:28 Hopkins thinks it is bad that the coworker he implicated as potentially committing election fraud is receiving death threats
42:48 Klein says he is waiting for Hopkins to challenge him on his interpretation of Hopkin's recollection
43:26 Hopkins states he has been very stressed with everything going on and he can't recall things
43:26 - 45:01 Klein explains how he believes Hopkins may have assumed something that didn't actually occur based on what he overheard
45:32 Klein brings up the GoFundMe under Hopkin's name
47:30 Klein asks if it's possible that Hopkins misheard what his coworker (Rob) was saying
47:37 Hopkins says it's possible
48:00 Hopkins asks for a smoke break and Klein says he can go. They small talk about the weather and other off topic things while Hopkins takes a smoke.
53:39 Questioning resumes
54:09 Klein begins asking about Project Veritas
54:28 Hopkins states that Veritas has been vetting his media appearances and telling him not to talk to anyone

1:04:10 Hopkins says he discussed the matter with one of his coworkers (who is also his landlord), who said Hopkin must have not heard properly
1:05:21 Klein gives a summary of what he believes Hopkins has said
1:08:21 Strasser begins trying to break down what Hopkins overheard word for word
1:09:22 Hopkins states he heard "all Third, one postmarked the Fourth"
1:10:49 Strasser confirms that Hopkins secretly marked one of the ballots he received
1:11:13 Hopkins confirms that Strasser's summary is correct
1:12:29 Strasser wants Hopkins to write down his statement
1:12:37 Klein interrupts, wants to ask about the affidavit signed for Veritas
1:13:22 Strasser reads paragraph 3 of the affidavit signed for Veritas
1:14:55 Hopkins says that what is contained in the affidavit is more specific than what he actually overheard
1:15:08 Hopkins states what is contained in the affidavit has more interpretation than what he actually overheard
1:15:34 Hopkins agrees that the affidavit should be amended
1:15:52 Hopkins states that the affidavit was written up by Veritas' lawyer
1:16:06 Hopkins states he would not swear as to the facts contained in paragraph 3
1:17:51 Strasser suggests to Hopkins that he should do an updated, signed statement ; Hopkins agrees
1:17:56 Strasser asks that Hopkins if he understands that signing a statement is voluntary; Hopkins agrees
1:18:35 Strasser states he will read every paragraph of the Veritas affidavit aloud and Klein will take notes on what Hopkins says should be amended in order to create an updated statement
1:19:38 Strasser notes that Hopkins is appearing a bit overwhelmed as asks if he needs a break ; Hopkins says he will be fine
1:21:05 Strasser starts going through paragraph 1; gets off topic as Hopkins asks what it's like to be a postal inspector
1:23:20 Hopkins expresses concern that he will be called a liar because he's amending the story
1:23:51 Strasser gives sort of a bullshit answer that nobody is going to see the document until it gets released through a public process, but clarifies that it could be released depending on the actions of others
1:26:25 Strasser returns to going through paragraph 2 and 3
1:17:46 Hopkins states that the person directing people to pick up ballots needs to be changed from Rob to Steph

1:29:54 Hopkins agrees to making that amendment
1:31:10 Strasser begins going over paragraph 4

1:39:48 Discussion on how Paragraph 5 is to be amended to state that ballots were being being segregated and they were supposed to pick them up
1:40:50 Hopkins clarifies that the ballots were not given to the postmaster as stated in the affidavit, but instead the supervisors
1:42:49 Hopkins clarifies that he doesn't know for certain Rob Waisenbach gave the direction to separate the ballots
1:44:55 Strasser asks if the sentence in paragraph 5 starting with moreover should be removed entirely / Hopkins agrees
1:45:52 Strasser starts going over Paragraph 6
1:46:59 Hopkins volunteers to amend Paragraph 6 to state that he does not have any physical evidence of such actions
1:48:48 Strasser suggests changing the entirety of Paragraph 6 to reflect that Hopkins does not have firsthand knowledge
1:49:58 Hopkins agrees to the change
1:52:02 Klein begins reading the amended Paragraph 6
1:52:50 Strasser starts Paragraph 7; states he doesn't need to amend it
1:55:33 Strasser provides details about how Hopkins can get the recording for his own purposes
1:56:10 Hopkins suggests that the word interrogation in Paragraph could be changed, because he felt the process to be pleasant
1:56:33 Strasser reads the last paragraph
1:57:37 Strasser asks if Hopkins wants to do a written statement he will swear to and narrow the truth without any exaggeration
1:59:22 Strasser states he will insert language into the amended affidavit to illustrate the basis of Hopkin's concerns
2:00:03 Strasser offers Hopkins the chance to take a polygraph, but says he will not require it of him
2:00:51 Strasser says he will have Hopkins fill out a form, then write the statement in Hopkin's own handwriting in the words Hopkins wants
2:01:50 Smoke break, then the statement will be written up
All in all, as far as interrogations go, I would consider this one to be exceptionally professional and cordial. I don't see any legal issues with using any of the statements obtained in this transcript, nor any ethical issues with how the interrogation was conducted. This is a far cry from the "COERCIVE INTERROGATION" Veritas is attempting to brand it as. I can only assume that Veritas is banking on the fact that most people will not actually sit down and listen to the entire transcript, as I have done, or simply don't know what constitutes "coercive" in interrogations. I find it a bit odd that there's no audio regarding Hopkins actually writing his final statement. There's no reason for the audio to cut at where it does, and there's no indication from Hopkins, Strasser, or Klein that the recording would cease. It may be nothing, but there may be audio that Veritas has not actually released.

From my perspective, Hopkins comes across as someone who thinks he might have overheard some illicit activity, but isn't particularly sure of what he heard. I would assume that Veritas talked to him into making a more detailed statement than what he actually witnessed, but I don't think Hopkins went into this with bad intentions.
