Out of all shit I've seen during these 9 years on dA my latest peeve are front page abusers. And they all follow same pattern, 1. step is submit to many shitty art groups as you can and 2. upload your crap in useless category like Customization>Desktop>Screenshot or other irrelevant category, and bamf! Insta front page.

In my eyes it's somewhat akin to trace/recolor shit, however many of those rarely hit front page because, even then many people aren't that stupid. And this behaviour gives out that really shitty vibe of huge bad kind of ego, because this artist thinks ''hey, I deserve to be on FP, so I'll cheat my way there'' instead of ''damn I should get better so I can make it there''. It rubs me really wrong way.

Sadly true, many equaly shitty art hits front page on daily basis, but it's kind of art where you really have to question dA's userbase (kind of art that gets posted here).

I had rediscovered it a few years back and bought some dvds so I wouldn't forget it's existence again.
Basically, father and son cavemen get turned into fossils and are found by two kids in the far future and their dad or something decides to revive the cavemen, but only the child is brought back and while the father isn't fully revived, he's still alive as a rock so he gets turned into a hammer. It's really odd, but in a fun way. Flint's personality is pretty much akin to Goku from dragonball. The bad guys are as mix of team rocket and an average sailormoon villain. The future kids and cavekid travel through time to find some weird magical creatures and save them from the team rocket bad guys. It's on the same levels of silliness as the Fighting Foodon show or any other saturday morning anime that played on 4kids.

That second picture. Jesus. It's disappointing that there's actually some artistic potential there. All that detail focused on drawing the feet. What's it with the foot fetish drawings generally having the better art skill when put along side other fetish images? It almost makes it creepier.

Yeah, I didn't even need to go this deep. All I had to do was type "flint the time detective" in the search and look two pages of results at most. That show finally came to my mind after so many years for some reason or other.

Thankfully, there's not a lot of fetish art of it out there (on both the Western or Japanese side of things, especially considering how the latter is all about "ruining childhoods" through drawing and selling "R18" doujinshi) due to its obscurity (in fact, most of the two pages I looked at were actually nice and cute pictures of "time shifters", though there were definitely some "odd one out"s), though I did find this under the fifth result of the dA search
