For those feeling tempted to even feel a tiny bit sorry for Bob, or think that Lindsay Ellis has gone to far or whatever, remember:
Bob said "There are no bad tactics, only bad targets."
Now he is a valid target. By his own admission (and the rules the SJW clique tend to follow) now that he has erred, that is it. He is a Bad Person and nothing he says or does will change that or make up for what he did (however bad you consider what he did to actually be). By his own words, Lindsay Ellis has the unequivocal moral right to humiliate him, destroy his career, poison his pets, burn down his house and skin him alive, and be perfectly justified in doing so. This is the cancel culture that Bob is such a big fan of, and it's being played 100% by his own playbook. Swivel on it, Bob.
And whilst Ellis is a deeply unpleasant person in many ways, this was always the way Bob was going to be taken down. His opponents have been pointing out his general psychopathy for years, but because they're alt-right-nazi-gamergate-chuds they can be ignored. Someone from his own circle turning on him can't be dismissed that way.
Also on a personal level, if he really did what Lindsay is saying he did, then I think she's justified in the public callout, especially if she believes (rightly, imo) that any association with someone as toxic as MovieBob would harm her career, especially as she's beginning to break into mainstream entertainment. Could you imagine if Lindsay got famous and someone dug up those tweets of her "friend" defending genocide and eugenics? Yikes! A sensible career move to comprehensively cut ties, not to mention give a well-deserved kicking to someone she clearly despises.
tl;dr don't feel sorry for FilmBlobert, just laugh.
