They were ordered to throw out the late ballots (the mail ins that were requested after the established date) however people have been saying that they destroyed the envelopes and mixed them in deliberately. Which if true would invalidate all ballots and hand the legislative the power to choose the electors themselves.

I think the biggest mistake that was made with the laptop scandal was that they sat on it for WAY too long. Even Trump himself said this year that "October Surprises don't work anymore." Trump is completely right.

If this laptop had been circulating the news over the Summer, I think it would have impacted the election in Trump's favor, much like how Hillary's e-mails did back in 2016. The e-mail scandal became a big deal for enough voters because it had been a scandal for the better part of an entire year. It was a scandal during the Dem primaries, even.

Rudy and Bannon dropped this info in mid-October, less than a month away from the election ... It was a bad strategy, clearly.
