Give a summary of events?
In contrast to state governors' and the mainstream media's doom and gloom...
  1. Trump gave remarks on the state of COVID in the nation with the usual, "The cure can't be worse than the problem itself." He also postured vaguely on which administration will be running the show in due time.
  2. Trump introduced slew of members on the task force team for Operation Warpspeed who once again, laid out the simplest guidelines to follow (Three Ws - Wash hands. Watch distance. Wear mask). They also kept mentioning that the vaccine will come soon. Just follow the the simplest guidelines until then.
  3. VP Pence gave a speech on #2, but he ties it in with the usual, "We're stronger than this. We'll recover. We're all in this together, so let's get through this together."
  4. Trump fucking zoomed out without taking and answering questions.

The left thinks this is just too funny also, they just love the thought of soldiers everywhere and endless fighting now!
If Bush had a D next to his name they would have tripped all over themselves begging for US presence in even more Mideast countries.
But I keep being told by the AP that this was the most legitimate election in US history and had 100% integrity.
haha yeah no need to check the data very nice super legit, also the mathematical tool used to spot fraudulent elections doesn't work

Apparently Trump broke the record for most votes for a Republican in California. This shit gets more fishy each passing day.

This article raises a few eyebrows.

They say Biden is the first President to win the Presidency since JFK in 1960. The 1960 election being notoriously full of electoral fraud.

1) Can she do that?
2) She's trying to force republicans to turn on Trump

A bit of googling with DuckDuckGo turns up this

When Can Congress Refuse to Seat a Duly-Elected Candidate?
Holland & Knight Political Law Blog

Never.

In 1969, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Speaker of the House could not exclude a duly-elected candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives. In Powell v. McCormack, 395 U.S. 486 (1969), the Supreme Court ruled that the House's Constitutional authority to judge the qualifications of its own members was post facto and could only be exercised via expulsion after a 2/3rd affirmative vote. In other words, the House and Senate have no discretion when deciding whether to seat a candidate who has been duly elected under state law, but may take steps to expel that member after they have been sworn-in. The Court decided that the constitutional rights of the voters and the states takes precedence over the rights of Congress until the candidate is sworn-in as a member. Although this case involved the House of Representatives, there is no indication the Court would view a candidate duly elected to the Senate any differently.

Here is GEOTUS talking now.

Is it just me, or has his hair turned more silver? Might just be the natural lighting/it's cloudy, but it makes him look less orange, weirdly enough.

Maybe it's like Palpatine. He looked noticeably older as his term as Chancellor ended and he transitioned into Emperor.

I'm watching that Trump statement on coronavirus vaccines now. If he gives his speech about vaccines and health and then just walks back into the White House without mentioning the election fraud and refusing questions I'm going to laugh my ass off. That's literally the only reason any journalists turned up. They don't give a shit about the vaccine or corona.

None of you cunts spoil it for me.

Trump fucking zoomed out without taking and answering questions.

Disregard that.

He said it's 'not clear which administration will follow his' but 'this administration will not go to a lockdown'

Ha.

I'm sick of hearing about this corona shit but the vaccine technical stuff was pretty interesting.

The tinfoil hat side of me thinks they're going after red meat not because cattle emit greenhouse gases, but to put flyover ranchers out of a job, either to force them to learb to code in a pod or just out of vengeful spite for voting Republican.
Most flyover ranchers are essentially vassals of Tyson/Conagra, there's virtually no independent ranchers left. There's no point in going after them, that's stepping on your own toes.

Speaking of AOC, her recent comments about leaving politics and all this in fighting among the Democrats...you think its AOC creating an out for herself to distance herself from the party because she knows shady shit happened in the election and she doesn't want to be connected to it?

I think her "leaving politics FOREVER" moment is no different from the lolcows who say they are "quitting social media FOREVER." She got her panties in a twist because she someone pulled her aside and said that making lists of political enemies was a bad look, and since she has the mind of a child, she thinks saying that she is leaving politics will cause her billions of fans to fill her twitter with asspats, well wishes, and marriage proposals.

Her tweet where she is pissed at Joe Manchin should be used by that guy for his next campaign. "Hell yeah, I hate everything AOC stands for. Why do you ask, fellow American?"

They still hate them for existing. They prefer the Exciting New Products™️ and want bugsoy paste to replace meat altogether. The business channel my office has on every day is always shilling for that Beyond Meat junk.

And you'd be damn right about that. I just checked CNN, and Wolf has a panel of 4 complaining about Trump not speeding up the transition. They really want him to troon out. The chyron even bitches about Trump talking about the process with "I guess time will tell..."

He’s probably been up organizing the lawsuits for days. I didn’t see much of his going off script moments like we’re used too.
I am surprised he kept this one very presidential other than the one bit about the administration. Doesn't want to appear smug or arrogant like the democrats are. Didn't go off the rails and refused to take any questions.

Subsidize soybeans and they won't give a shit. They'll farm it right alongside super subsidized corn for the high fructose corn syrup and ethanol scams.

If anything a Biden win will destroy them quicker. There will be no common enemy and they will be vying for power.

That raises an interesting possibility. Suppose Biden wins and rigs things so the Democrats win all elections and the Republican party collapses. What would then happen is that you'd have factions inside the Democrats. One of those will be the AOC branch, one the Clinton/Biden branch and one would be Blue Dog crypto Republicans.

And of those, the AOC branch looks like the one which would fail.

So you'd still have Democrats and Republicans just under different names. You can see that in the way the names of the parties have changed. Actually, come to think of it the ideologies have changed in a pretty radical way too, it's just that takes longer. A lot of people in this thread have said 'If the Republicans screw this up, they're finished'. Well, maybe they will screw it up and they will be finished. However, the millions of people who voted for Trump won't just go away. And the Democratic Party is not democratic centralist - it's like a sack full of cats. Same with the Republican party to be honest. US parties have very lax internal discipline. It's one of the upsides of the way politicians have a very strong incumbent advantage, which is otherwise bad.

So even if hypothetically speaking, this election produces a Democrat one-party state and that is very much the worst of all the possible outcomes, I predict that will not last.

Ah, the old "everything will magically turn out fine".

No, that's not how socialist takeovers work.

Keep in mind, other countries will continue to exist under biden. China and Russia are looking to expand. You think Joe will take a hard stance against his financier Xi?

Subsidize soybeans and they won't give a shit. They'll farm it right alongside super subsidized corn for the high fructose corn syrup and ethanol scams.
Then they'll complain about that:
  • fossil fuels being used to farm crops
  • Farming is racist because the land was stolen from injuns
  • Farmland bulldozed the forests and is bad for the environment
  • Farmland isn't being bulldozed for public housing
  • Farming is too white
  • Farmland excludes BIPOCLGBTroons
  • Where are the subsidies for Vibrant, Exciting Urban Farming©️?
  • We can get food at the grocery store anyway
  • Robots will do it, MovieBob said so
