I absolutely have those concerns too. But I also know Leftists tend to direct their initatives in a chaotic manner. So what I'm hoping is with stuff like hate speech, they get a team together but they scrap for most of the 4 years on what they'll actually do before presenting it to congress where it all gets voted down anyway

I mean it's not like the Republicans stop existing and they have lots of seats, so I would presume *if* Trump doesn't turn it around. Then next move is to block/oppose whatever Bidens planning and continue to look at state voting systems. It's not like early Obama who could run wild and yet didn't get a lot done when he had the most control.

The fraud is an issue too. I imagine what will happen is investigations happen even post-inauguration, stuff is found - it's sweeped undercover by media, but people actually involved get sacked and new systems put into place. Not very satisfying, but is what it is. It might even be better to work without media hoopla or them screaming NOTHING TO SEE HERE while they all focus on Kamala kissing babies and turning white house water into wine.
My concern is that in a timeline where Biden wins, this means that the Republican-controlled legislatures of the contested states didn't go for the nuclear option of appointing their own electors, in the face of a future where Democrats win every election for at least the next decade (and that's being conservative with my guess). In other words, if the GOP won't grow a spine even when they could lose everything, then I'm pessimistic when it comes to them blocking Biden. Maybe I'm wrong since it's only the GOP in these contested states rather than all of them, but I feel it's a good indicator on what the GOP would be like overall if Biden wins. They better all have the mantra "Republicans will never win another election again if we don't stop this" repeating in their heads at a daily basis right now.

I don't get the appeal of Billie Eilish. I listened to one of her songs after seeing some people talk about it and it's... kinda bland to put it positively. I don't even like pop music.

I'll straight up admit one of my big concerns with a Biden administration is how he'll treat the 2nd amendment. They've openly talked about "assault weapon" bans, magazine bans, banning online sales of arms, ammunition, and parts. You can also imagine that they'll add a total importation ban on guns, parts/parts kits, and ammunition.

For all their talk about how this is about safety, in practical reality it's about punishing a group of people and an industry who aren't loyal members of their political coalition. I only got into this hobby a few years ago and for me personally it would really suck to see it get knee-capped.
I doubt they would get that past the conservative majority on the supreme court, but this is still a concern though, true enough.

Our current crop of politicians grew up in the 1950s and 1960s when America's schools were full of patriotism and good education and sometimes gun ranges and physical education and common sense and the pledge of allegiance. Hollywood's major stars back then were Republicans like Clark Gable and John Wayne.

Where did the education system fail that all our current crop of politicians have to be that one generation that destroys everything. Like that one theory by one Arab Scholar about how the first builds, second maintains and third destroys. They have destroyed America to the point that they have embraced woke retarded ass communism for the corporations.

Like the Soviet commies were all into physical fitness and traditional morality to some extent even if they rejected God.

The Lolbertarian Anti-Racist League really sounds like something that will mind its own business like good libertarians do

I question whether the LP spoils close elections for Republicans at all, at this point the only people left associated with it sure seem like pedophile I still want muh legal weed fellow traveler pinkos

I don't know if a lot of Democrat donors did this, but some fairly major ones also sunk a lot of money into LP and Green candidates, simply to help spoil the GOP.

The best part is, I heard that on NPR, back when the gloating was still fresh after Romney lost. I can't remember if the guest being interviewed was from a PAC or an actual DNC stooge, but either or. I wasn't really even listening, until I heard the dumb bitch start crowing about skirting donation limits & the host immediately cut her off, launched into a really awkward topic segue, and the change was pretty jarring. Being that NPR is a publicly funded enterprise, the host was Karen on the spot with the cough button, as it wouldn't do to get exiled to an adult-contempo & oldies FM gulag station in Lawrence, Kansas.

Only reason I know of her is thanks to this wonderful pic.

She's just another child exploited by the entertainment industry, used for every one of their purposes, and in return for her and her parents' fealty they'll project her sad, drug-addled songs of desperation and oblivion onto the minds of impressionable children everywhere who are themselves on so many pills they don't even know what being unmedicated feels like and think it's normal. #RidingWithBiden

Not gonna sperg too much on this, but I'd say it boils down to a cycle that applies to basically every nation:

I'd argue that boomers were the transitioning point between good times and weak men, and at the moment, we're in the point where we're transitioning from weak men into hard times. If Trump wins it'll probably delay that transition, but I think there'll still be hard times in a few decades due to how depressed and apathetic the current generations are, that's the one thing people seem to agree on when it comes to a consensus on zoomers for instance.

A lot of them are on the tail end of that generation, now. They barely remember that shit,

It didn't fail, that was entirely by design; when being the lowest common denominator became something to be applauded.

By the time it would take for such a case/groups of cases to work their way to the Supreme Court, the damage would already be done and probably be irreversible.
Ehh, I find this a little too pessimistic. Chicago's handgun ban was struck down after all, and while they have continued to engage in fuckery, said fuckery tends to require absolute democrat dominance of a given area, and even though I'm worried about the Dems taking the executive branch again and again due to cheating, I can't see them also managing to ignore Supreme Court orders and simultaneously rig all the mid-term elections too.

Even RINOs like Romney probably wouldn't get on board with that, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Hek I don't even think a few Jacobin Senators like that one guy from West Virginia would dare support some gun ban bill even if it was toothless.

That's assuming the system works as intended, and all that pseudo-revolutionary zeal pent up over the past 4 years turns out to be a bunch of hot air. But I'm just an early zoomer, so maybe this song and dance has happened before and I was too young to notice.

I'm speaking from experience of election hype on both sides of the atlantic, and musing back to the days when I was just old enough to vote and fell for the whole "WE'RE GONNA CHANGE THE WORLD" stuff going on with career Politicians like Obama and Tony Blair.

Like...if all that hype really counted for anything, then Obama should of had healthcare reform done in months, rather than years as it was really his only tangible campaign promise at the time. I was more liberal then and I remember more conservative friend at the time noted that a lot of his speeches were a lot of feel good statements with no actual substance on policy.

I mean the guy literally got a nobel prize just for winning the presidency.

Biden has almost 0 hype outside being "not trump" - which means less zeal for the guy overall. But he also lacks the charisma that Obama or Blair has, which means he can't smile at the camera and charm everyone while singing an order to drone some village in Brazil because they are not eco-friendly enough for his liking.
