A little late as I'm still catching up on this thread. In high school I was literally taught that these 3 were among of the worst presidents in history because of the great depression with a big emphasis on them being republicans. The 'republican' part actually stuck with me and influenced my view on the party (among a mountain of other subliminal messages and not so subtle hints) until later when I actually researched what the republican party stood for and shattered my previous perceptions. I often wonder how many students learning that same lesson would be influenced politically by it, and how many of those would actually bother to look at the other side's stances and viewpoints beyond what they were taught. My favorite era! Let's see who we have...
A pretty popular and well careered politician, but a shitty president, right up there with Wilson.
Made the economy boom though, but he died before the credit could all go to him...Took that credit, and went further beyond on the economy. Lower the federal government's power. Back to the economy, his voodoo magic there would lead to the recession of 1929...
Love the underrated guy though! He's my favorite president."Unemployment in the sense of distress is widely disappearing. . . . We in America today are nearer to the final triumph over poverty than ever before in the history of any land. The poor-house is vanishing from among us. We have not yet reached the goal, but given a change to go forward with the policies of the last eight years, and we shall soon with he help of God be in sight of the day when poverty will be banished from this nation..."

Lol. Turned a great recession into a Great Depression. Good job, 31!
And that was a short look into history. Try to keep up with, however. It might be gone one day...
This would be the part where I rant about the state of public education and political indoctrination, but I think you already seen that rant a thousand times before.
