That's true, but there's something that irks me because it's still a depiction of kids but it's "okay" because it's voiced by adults. While I do understand (not agree) how it can be seen as more acceptable, I feel it's along the same lines as the argument of "it's just pixels." Hopefully no more like that ever comes out into production.

From the get go it would make even the most liberal squimish because while people might have some nostalgia for HS-

You may not have, but I've seen people talk about the show because they liked the concept of a show about going through puberty. I know you may not have, but it doesn't mean that people haven't. There's nothing wrong with Highschool kids going through the stages of puberty, but it is a lot more uncomfortable when multiple sexual scenes are depicted with minors.

In no way did I say that an art style indicated they were a predator. What I did say was that big mouth wasn't as popular due to it's art style, which we all know is ugly as sin while most other shows with teenage puberty have styles that are more pleasant to the eye.

Edit; I brought up Big Mouth, because I've seen it mentioned alongside Forever 12 before since they're both apparently puberty based shows.
