The media probably or definitely has less power than 2017 when the Unite the Right was cast as a Klan rally. Although I did see pictures of Nazi flags but Trump's remarks were definitely out of context and fabricated.

This supposed racist got 70 million votes due to almost every minority deciding to give Trump a chance or were convinced by his policies mostly. There is also the left wing going full batshit insane.

To give some perspective the average a Republican was getting in the last 4 elections was around close to 60 million but trending very slow upwards or static. Democrats were all over the place but high. He jumped from 63 million in 2016 to 73 million and counting in 2020.

I don't think the media will be effective in using this and also the right wing is more prepared now with what they are going to do.

I don't know if the media are less powerful than they were three years ago, but it does seem like the rules have changed.

We just had a major election rigged and the democrat's attempts to fuck with the process itself like bullying lawyers change a lot of things. At some point people will just snap.

Republicans tomorrow have to realize that either they stand behind Trump or forever be destroyed because they will be chased out of everything.

The moment for optics are gone when the media is desperately trying to gaslight everyone into believing Biden is already president and muh unity.

The question for Trump is depending on how SCOTUS rules, is he willing to go with the direct appointment of electors.

It's ballot marking machine. It marks the ballot. Some states use them to scan as well. In NYC they're used for marking (it's designated as an accessibility device) then the voter takes the ballot to a scanner. In NYC all scanners have ports and the ballots scanned, along with other data, are fed into a USB at the end of the day. The USB is then uploaded to the Board of Elections. All these devices are put into a pouch (along with other items) then locked into a box where it's taken to the borough BOE by police.

Anything with a USB port can be hacked. Any data transmitted by WiFi can be intercepted.
