I said assuming she was a fully grown adult. age is just a number. not all 12 years are in the same stage of puberty.

I cannot believe you're reading through this entire thread.
The argument for lowering AOC is the following:

1. Puts women on a path to marriage by high school. With age of consent at 16/18, girls are groomed to have worthless casual sex in HS and causes a butterfly effect makes them not waifu material.
2. Society uses age of consent as a proxy for maturity. With 16 or 18, people treat high school teenagers as kids rather than young adults, stunts their maturity.
3. Allows more marriageable relationships. 15f+19m = 100% more. People will say this allows 35 yr old to date a 14 yr old, True but that won't be common and is that really much different from 35+18?
4. I am tired of late 10s or 20 somethings being accused of having pedophilia because they have sexts from a high age women. Clearly not what people mean by pedophilia e.g. loli.
5. Historic age of consent in the USA was 10/12. So I'm not saying we should try some brand new experimental policy. I am saying we should return AOC to the way it was before feminists changed it.

In the United States, as late as the 1880s most states set the minimum age at ten to twelve (in Delaware, it was seven in 1895).[9] Inspired by the "Maiden Tribute" articles, female reformers in the U.S. initiated their own campaign,[10] which petitioned legislators to raise the legal minimum age to at least sixteen, with the ultimate goal to raise the age to eighteen. The campaign was successful, with almost all states raising the minimum age to sixteen to eighteen years by 1920.
