Trump supporters have been called white supremacists, nazis, racist, xenophobic, every “phobic you can imagine , stupid, uneducated rednecks, deplorables, chumps and now ugly. And a lot of that has been repeatedly hurled around for 4 years now. They have been targeted, some have been fired and lost friends and family because they have their own opinions and disagree with the people who are bullying and judging them.

Biden is not going to just flip and unity switch and make people who have been abused by his party suddenly gather around the camp fire for cocoa and s’mores. These people are seriously deranged and out of touch to think anyone could respect them when they act like psychopaths.
I think a lot of this is how Trump came to power in the first place. If you don't remember, all throughout the Republican nomination, the Media wouldn't fucking stop talking up the Donald. Even for people who don't follow politics, it was pretty clear why they were doing it - they thought that Trump would be an easy win for their side. What they didn't count on was years of shitty establishment policy leading directly to a populist wave that Trump was uniquely able to capitalize on, being the bombastic WWE guest-star that he was, and with the GOP's candidates being a choice between triangulating fucktards, screeching warmongering Neocons, and the errant candidate that's on the level but couldn't get into office if god himself ordained it, Trump was able to bulldoze his opposition and cruise to a comfortable win.

They fucking made Trump happen. They also made him the preferable candidate by stabbing Bernie in the back and effectively rigging the Dem primary because "it was her turn." His happening is entirely their fault, and they refuse to admit that he happened as a direct consequence of their failures, and, if allowed, he will make sure that failure is ground into their stupid faces every day he exists - a painful reminder that they're all ultimately short-sighted dumbasses that are nowhere near as intelligent as they think they are.

I'm not saying your average Kiwi that shitposts about Spongebob Fan Fiction is smarter than the DNC's bigwigs, but I'm certainly implying it.
 
I'm reminded, more and more as I look at the electoral map of Kurt Schlichter's book People's Republic in which the United States splits into a Red and Blue nation. The People's Republic of America (The Democrat coasts) defunds the police and basically hands the equipment over to the gangs, while the United States continues on based in Austin with a new capital.

The coastal states also tell the farmers in the "enemy territory" to go fuck themselves and so desperately import food at eye watering prices from anywhere not the USA, while the US itself dumps food elsewhere, as well as lets other states take on the old roles of the coastal cities, such as finance etc.

Because its the option that avoids a civil war. What I have observed over the last 12 years is that "Left" and "Right" have slowly ceased to be mere political ideologies, and become de facto ethnicities, complete with different ways of life, values, and morals, all of which are utterly incompatible with each other. For all the proselytizing about multiculturalism the Left does, they make one very large exception for the Right, because they know deep down that it will not work between us. We are two separate Peoples with two separate Wills, and that is something no government is equipped to handle. If we leave ourselves in this pressure cooker together for too long, it will explode one day, and the events we are seeing unfold this month should be all the proof anyone needs of that. We are out of alternatives, either we split the country and go our own ways, or we will start killing each other over it.

The Right wishes to scrape off the accretion, burn the fat, and return to the ideal of the Constitution, while the Left wishes to burn the whole damned thing to the ground and try again with something else. And while I think that the Left is absolutely fucking wrong, it is their right to try, damn it, I just don't want them dragging me into their crazy plans, nor do they want me to pull them into mine. We are too far removed from each other to reconcile our differences, and unless we part ways, shit is going to get fucking ugly in this country.

"MAGA" is undoubtedly a movement, and it has transformed the Republican party. I simply do not see GOP voters coming out in big numbers for an establishment hack Republican on a national scale again. I can see them coming out for Mike Pence or another Trump, though.

Because while I do like to think that I'm fairly in the loop, Georgia confuses me alot.

The problem with your scenario here is you'd be looking at the Partition of India 2.0. Anyone Democrat in a red state would be suspect and anyone red in a dem state would be suspect if not outright trying to seceed.

These "two nations" of yours assumes the blue and red on the maps are uniform, but they're not. Nearly every blue state is a tiny blob of a metro area living well apart from their republican backwoods counterparts. There was already half hearted attempts by West Virginia to pilfer counties off of Virginia due to Northam's retardation and numerous counties in California seemingly want fuck all to do with the coastal cities to the point there was another half hearted attempt to form a new state.

Nevada, a nominally "blue state" is actually just two counties.

Oregon is another, who's blue areas are handfull of counties too.

New York is another example, where it's pretty much just the five boroughs dragging the rest of the state down.

Your "blue nation" would basically be utterly unsustainable city-states.

Georgia has multiple levels of fraud. The usual fair, dominion, dead people, and odd single person marked ballots, apply. Additionally, there is a ballot harvesting operation snuck in by one Stacey Abrams.

The legislature, judiciary, and executive are all Republican.

The problem is that is also about half RINOs.

The persons most in charge of things like audits also has raging TDS. This has lead to things like claiming an audit is occurring, when its barely more than a recount. The Legislature has moved against this person, but its unknown what if anything they can do.
