And then

And then 4 people on here went off about “learn to google” and “don’t take things at face value” when they in fact took things at face value without any research and were wrong. Y’all are the exact thing you attack.
TBF, a lot of people on the KickVic side are demonstrable idiots, and it's not exactly long odds for anyone here to bet on them continuing to be such. Those of us that were here from the very beginning will remember how they first couldn't figure out whether Rekieta was actually a lawyer (i.e. Shane).

But yes, Rekieta is not immune from making the same mistakes, and he certainly won't be free from catching accurate return fire from his many online enemies when he makes these mistakes. That's the risk you take when you're both extremely confident and vocal.

I'm pretty sure Rekieta doesn't give a fuck at this point though. He survived the (somewhat on point) dunking they did on his unsubmitable amicus. Ron is still a cuck, even if Rekieta fucked up by calling him an idiot in this instance. It's all relative.

The only reason Manning is turning this into a novel of a post is cause Nick stopped answering his calls. I thought he had gotten over this shit. It's fucking pathetic.
What I offered was super mild criticism (as well as answering a question and pointing out something). Has nothing to do with me. I never even mentioned me.

You're white knighting, and sperging, and not even in an instance where it's even remotely warranted. Calm down.

So this other VA Flynn got slandered like Vic, fought back istantly with 0 apologies and the cancel op failed already? Color me surprised, expected the same shitty people being behind this useless failed op, they should just admit to hate white christian&straight males at this point given they're the target every single time. :lunacy:
Greg and Ron still grasping at straws is always dumb, but even if Nick was wrong and that lawyer turn out to be the same old ex-partner of Ty...still doesn't change anything about both Ty and Hughes. Wonder what's making Ron this desperate...OH RIGHT, he's scared as shit right now and can't apparently even sperg about the lawsuit anymore. :smug: :smug:
Never, EVER, apologize. That was Vic's innocent mistake, but he learned the hard "current year" lesson.
No, it's not his fault. I gather the scene was meant to be cringe. It's still cringe though.

Look, I just loathe Titus. I don't get why anybody likes that punkass character. Final Fantasy writing was never what I would consider top shelf.
Terra is under-rated, like the rest of VI's existence post-VII and X eras. VI is basically 2D VII, so many things between the two are similar.

What I’m getting from this is that confirmation bias is strong enough for you to not care what is true or not.

Well, it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things if Sen. Hughes is on Trump's legal team. It certainly has nothing to do with Vic's case.

The only bad thing here is that Nick said Ron was wrong, and called him an idiot, but it would appear Ron is actually right. It's more common than rocking horse shit, but only barely. So I guess Ron is like 3 and 2,768, or something.

I think, in this instance, Rekieta gives himself a "how embarrassing" and moves on (he already said "Maybe I'm the idiot, that would be funny."). He'll catch shit from Lawtwitter for this faux pas, but he catches shit from lawtwitter every day that ends in the word day anyways. This doesn't change the landscape any. Is anybody actually gonna be like "OMG, Ron was right about Hughes! I need to defect to KickVic"?

No. That's silly.

You went (and have continued) to rant about how Nick getting into Twitter spats is a huge character flaw. Instead of saying, "Nick tends put his foot in his mouth" and leaving at that. You instead continue the same rhetoric that were spouting when Rekieta first broke up with you.

You even already saw that he's walking it back and even agree with me that it's absolutely irrelevant that Hughes may or may not have been on BHBH. Oh no Ron might have gotten one over on people.

I'm not sperging or white knighting. The former is just you projecting.

On the topic of Quinton Flynn: Sexting with fans is retarded, but not illegal (and it isn't immoral either imo, as long as everybody involved is of age). I don't think he deserves to lose his career because of this, but at the same time it's kinda hard to feel sorry for the guy, since he acted like an absolute retard.

To be fair, so far we don't even really know if all the screenshots are real or if they're doctored. He hasn't admitted to anything yet.

What's also interesting is that I haven't seen any Funimation actors comment on this situation, although they still won't shut up about Vic. I'm not actually surprised, though.

Flynn is primarily an LA based actor. Few have ever rubbed shoulders with him outside of conventions. They all likely have no clue if any of it is true. If it's not true, they potentially alienate many potential colleagues and employers by going against him. Especially if the murmurs that Texas based voice acting will continue to shrink are true.

I think there was (and is) a lot of hatred for Vic, and a desire by a lot of people to get rid of him. Compare this to Haberkorn's thing, for example, which died out PDQ. Coupled with the fact the Vic has been a shitshow that had divided the anime community pretty harshly. Even if Vic loses his appeal, his critics within the industry still got battered pretty bad. My hope is they are less likely to pull this shit moving forward. Including in Flynn's case.

In Todd's case, in particular, I also suspect they really don't believe Messy Thotwhore, but they'll never come out and say that because of the social politics of metooing. They just won't say anything.

I think if Vic loses, they’ll continue further because I’m not sure if anyone else who went through what Vic went through would be willing to put up a fight.

That asinine defense irritates me. "Anyone who needs more context or clarity can easily find it without throwing a fit." Um, excuse me? The text at issue wasn't vague. There wasn't a single thing in it to suggest that one needed more context to understand it, there wasn't anything that suggested that research was needed to trigger people into going in search of the full story. What there was, was a simple statement that was baldly false: "I write #Yashahime."

People are perfectly justified in reacting to what the person wrote. They deserve no blame for failing to reinterpret the woman's literal words into something that actually fits the truth.

People like this irritate me. It's why reasonable discussion no longer exists.

How many times have lawtwitter gotten shit wrong? How many instances has there been when Ron has shown to be stupid and dishonest? For every one thing Nick has gotten wrong, Ron and Lawtwitter have done it dozens of time, maybe hundreds. The only people who are going to dwell on this is KV, since they have no life outside of Twitter.

Nick has a wife, five children and a full-time job. Do you really that he's going to give a shit if a tool like Ron mocks him for an error? This is a nothingburger.
