Judge rules against Trump, they appeal it to a higher court, and thread goes full retard for the rest of the day despite this being extremely predictable
I feel like unless anything noteworthy happens, the default of this thread is full retard. Not that I’m complaining though, I do love myself some internet slap fights.

It's time to start calling baseless conspiracies what they are: libelous attacks on the 500,000+ heroic poll workers & election administrators in every corner of the U.S. who pulled off a successful election amid record-shattering turnout and a global pandemic.
Not only are you all racist, but you're also severely lacking in poll worker patriotism. They died for our sins!

"There are three thousand, nine hundred, and ninety nine participants in this call, including you."
There are journalists on twitter throwing salty fits over not being able to get in on that. lol. "4000 is nearly nearly enough" one of them yowled.

Despite making fun of lolsuits, Kiwi Farms users still don't know the lolsuit process.

Reminds me of Election Night, and peeps didn't know how counties worked. Peeps really thought Alabama was going blue for a smidge.

That's just the start of it, it could easily be argued that Trump is the most corrupt and nepotistic president in US history. Look at the failing border wall for example, the cheap steel was from Israeli-Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, who in return had the company that was gonna finance Trump Tower Moscow buy a TV station from him instead. Or how Trump's best friend Carl Icahn conveniently would sell huge amounts of stocks in steel related companies weeks before Trump instituted tariffs. Or how Trump financial backers were 1.5x more likely to get a role as an ambassador, setting a record for amounts of his own backers he put into positions of power. Even on his way out Trump is grifting as much as he can from his "working class base" to pay for his legal fund(aka campaign debt).

Besides his friends he has his family too, like Jared Kushner who despite trying to kick tenants out onto the streets during the height of the pandemic in New York against state orders, he and his corrupt family still got millions in PPP money. That's just Jared domestic adventure, what about his secret meetings with "the chicoms" that the Trump admin won't even comment on, Kushner's secret meetings with Turkey that got his labeled a security risk(which Trump ignored), his vast ties to Israel to the point where even Israel themselves discussed using that as leverage against him or having secret meetings with the Prince of Saudi Arabia which he failed to disclose? Kushner worked on handling criminal reform, the Middle Eastern "peace plan", Opioid crisis, all trade deals, reforming care for veterans, diplomatic relations with China, the “White House Office of American Innovation" and the wall.
People go on and on about Hunter Biden, but Hunter Biden was never a special adviser to Obama with high level security clearance who had control over several big projects.

Trump is a crook and charlatan.

He's not even close to as corrupt as the previous president.

There was an amended complaint filed that removed "several" counts, leaving only "violation of the Equal Protections clause" and some federal election act.

Judge surmises that the only effectively standing charge is a violation of the Equal Protections clause.

Also, T_D says this is a hearing for a motion to dismiss.

Rudy is directly alleging voter fraud.

It did. There's a reason her campaign had to come out on the night saying she would give a speech the next day and why there is a rumour that she got piss drunk.

Hillary was crushed.

The recounts giving more votes to Trump did not help.

I bet if we brought Nietzsche back from the grave and explained this process to him he'd drop his objection to 'democracy' in this case.

He was right about the tarantulas though

Lots of leftists consider ben shapiro a far right extremist. Hirono is retarded enough to actually think that's true.
I was hoping that Dorsey would ask Hirono if Trump's lies are like Japan's lies that they didn't do gook-chink comfort women. because it could either get other asians to hate her or get chinese and koreans to admit that comfort women are lies to protect the integrity of the asian american voting block.

I think it's more inappropriate to refuse to concede an election you obviously lost.
"inappropriate" Spotted the Karen. No wonder she keeps negating anything about Trump.

Oni Sama, please teach me your ways of being based.

Pretty sure they were already calling trump president-elect at this point 4 years ago.
They were.

Because Hillary conceded.

Since the election is still contested and there is ongoing litigation, there is no "president-elect" (which is just a pro forma title until the Electoral College casts their votes anyhoo.) As someone who remembers 2000, I can tell you with absolute certainty that nobody in the press was calling Bush "president-elect" at this juncture in the proceedings.

Rudy uses the term "intentional voter fraud". I wasn't aware fraud could be unintentional.

Oni Sama, please teach me your ways of being based.
don't call me that

(also, try this backup line if you want to listen-- I had to use it because the original had no sound at all:

Regardless of any prediction or civil war (I still doubt it short term personally), the struggle for legitimacy is real and honestly it is kind of morbidly hilarious how quickly things are devolving into a medieval sucession crisis:

>The Lord of Ohio has announced that Biden is the true King of the land!
>The Elector-Princes of the South refuse to certify the results and are putting political pressure to ensure more lesser nobles back the rightful King.
>Pretender Biden crowned himself with a new title, "The office of the President-Elect" a de jure title he made up to gain more legitimacy
>Disputed King Trump is currently resorting his levees to ensure his commanders are loyal to him and will not defect to Pretender Biden
>Factions are pushing out propaganda to convince the functionaries of Govrenment (the judical system) that their faction candidate is the rightful King.

I guess this is what happens when too much of your government is based on implied traditions based on precedent and then those traditions are slowly undermined.
Hold up, your first line should be "Lord of Pennsylvania" not Ohio.

President-elect Biden wary of Trump-focused investigations, sources say

President-elect Joe Biden has privately told advisers that he doesn't want his presidency to be consumed by investigations of his predecessor, according to five people familiar with the discussions, despite pressure from some Democrats who want inquiries into President Donald Trump, his policies and members of his administration.

Biden has raised concerns that investigations would further divide a country he is trying to unite and risk making his presidency about Trump, said the sources, who spoke on background to offer details of private conversations. They said he has specifically told advisers that he is wary of federal tax investigations of Trump or of challenging any orders Trump may issue granting immunity to members of his staff before he leaves office. One adviser said Biden has made it clear that he "just wants to move on."

Another Biden adviser said, "He's going to be more oriented toward fixing the problems and moving forward than prosecuting them."

Any approach by Biden's Justice Department to Trump, his staff, his associates, his business or his policies wouldn't affect investigations by state officials, including Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., who has fought to obtain Trump's tax returns.

As Biden tries to balance his own inclinations and pressures from within his party, his advisers stressed that he is seeking to reset the dynamic between the White House and the Justice Department from what it has been under Trump.

Biden wants his Justice Department to function independently from the White House, aides said, and Biden isn't going to tell federal law enforcement officials whom or what to investigate or not to investigate.

"His overarching view is that we need to move the country forward," an adviser said. "But the most important thing on this is that he will not politicize his Justice Department."
To their chants of "Lock him up!" Biden is all like, "No, I don't think I will."
