If you have followed Russian elections without getting to involved in any side over there since about 1996 you can see the playbook being run here. The media screeching is the same, the same reports of blatant vote manipulation whether through paper ballots or voting machines is the same, the cries of "conspiracy theory crackpots" is the same, the smugposting is the same. The screaming about how no, the election is totally fine the way it is, no fraud here is the same.

I have no problems with people asking for recounts, what I find hilarious and deserving of mockery is people who think a recount will flip such a large lead given how rare it is for them to change more than a triple digit number, as well as people acting like it's been confirmed to have been rigged when no reliable evidence has been presented as of yet.

In its opinion, the Supreme Court found that the Philadelphia Board of Elections complied with requirements for observer access from the moment the first votes were counted.
“We conclude the board did not act contrary to the law in fashioning its regulations governing the positioning of candidate representatives,” Justice Debra Todd wrote for the majority. “Critically, we find the board’s regulations … were reasonable.”


Chief Justice Thomas Saylor and Justice Sallie Updyke Mundy dissented.
The ruling came even as Trump campaign attorneys were pressing the issue in a federal court in Williamsport, asking a judge to bar the state from certifying the vote based, in part, on the limited access they claimed vote-counting observers had in Philadelphia and Allegheny Counties.
Trump observers complained that in Philadelphia they were originally positioned between 13 feet and up to 100 feet away from counting tables and, therefore, couldn’t meaningfully see ballots as they were counted.
Lawyers for the city argued that despite claims to the contrary, GOP monitors were allowed in the room from the start and were subject to the same restrictions also applied to Democratic monitors. State law only requires that monitors be allowed in the counting rooms, they said, and makes no mention of how close counties must allow observers to get to the counting itself.

Like I said earlier, the precedent (president, haha) has been set that no one believes in American democracy unless they thinking their side is winning. For years Dems never accepted Trump due to the Russian controversy. Now, Republicans will never accept Biden over the election fraud allegations. However, Americans will just accept it an move on.

Remember when the DNC cucked Bernie out of his candidacy twice in a row? Remember the riots and civil war Bernie bros had with the Hilldawgs? No? Me neither. People just accepted it and moved on.
