Another terrible argument from a new defense counsel, namely that neither Republican nor Democrat observers were allowed to observe as required by law, so it's all okay
Defense uses the fact that Republicans are leading in some state races ("on the same ballot") in order to argue that plaintiff's contention is not with voter fraud, but with voter choice.
this man is arguing for ballot curing when ballot curing is illegal in PA

I'd like to sue the defense because I have become convinced they are trying to murder me via asphixiation by laughing too hard. Holy fuck how is Rudy not laughing his ass off on stream right now that man must be made of stone.

Not rigging elections is very dangerous to our democracy

Yeah I mean if you just let people get away with voting for whatever they want they might elect people you don't like. UNACCEPTABLE!

Wanted to wait until I got more solid confirmation on this, but the Michigan Republicans are trying to impeach Whitmer.

Knowing our long history with impeachments, it will probably go as well as those attempts. But it is the thought that counts, right?

Yeah I shared it when it first popped up sunday I believe, you think she'll get a landslide impeachment? Or Michiganers needs to reign of terror the shit out Michigan?

Its the blunderbuss approach. Argue EVERYTHING, and find what sticks. It means they don't have any set of arguments they believe will work well so are hoping to find many small ones to add up to a win. I... its shockingly incompetent. I legit thought they'd have more.
Ive met many incompetent peeps in my life. Their only skill is conning people so they can get out of or stay out of trouble. They get a lot of practice at jiving their way out of issues cause how much they fuck up.

The latter, but they won't. The Lieutenant Governor of Michigan is just as bad, if not worse than Gretch.

Rudy: "Mister- The man who was very angry at me, I forget his name"

:story:
This is where Rudy is best, the man is GREAT at -pissing off- his opponents while not pissing off the judge. Not sure if he has retained his edge for it, but back in his mob busting days it was used to GREAT effect. If you have ever watched something like Law & Order and seen the defendant break down screaming at trial and thought "That would never happen...." those outbursts were based on things Giuliani actually caused.

All it means is that the GOP in Michigan is fed up with their bullshit and is willing to fight.

Noone has been sucessfully impeached since like the 1800s. This will be no different.

To paraphrase Nate Silver: The Democrats won the Presidency, kept the House and still have a shot at winning the Senate. In the process, Joe Biden won two historically Republican states as well, scored the first victory against an incumbent president since 1992, alongside rebuilding the shattered 'Blue Wall' and winning it by bigger margins than Trump in 2016. No matter what, Trump is out and in a few months will stop sabotaging the US' hard-gained global standing, diplomacy and internal institutions.

This was done while Trump drove up unexpected turnout from red hat zombies, and even in the midst of attempts at stealing the election by tampering with mail-in ballots. Is it disappointing that the win wasn't bigger, and Trump didn't lose by the electoral landslide he so richly deserved? Is it a shame that Senate seats which seemed to be in reach were kept by Republicans? Is it a pity that some House seats were lost? Absolutely. But it's still a victory you fucking whiners.
Man, people on other forums are desperately trying to believe they won, so hard right now.

I know. And it’s amazong.

I can now show this to everyone that said ‘real law is not like tv’ and laugh.

No, they do turn out for them in droves and the poll workers are mostly them.

Speaking as one from pozzed NY.

They could have just let him have it and then pull a "Sic semper tyrannis."

If they did that, they'd have to false flag it and have the assassin claim to be the most over-the-top alt-right caricature to deflect criticism.

Of course, the last time they did that, they had a US Marine and possible unofficial spy who claimed to be a Marxist, or the most over-the-top straw Marxist there was at the time.

Coincidentally, that massively backfired and now the Kennedy Assassination is one of the most mainstream conspiracy theories and probably the only one that's even semi-socially acceptable to openly consider.

none of the prior impeachments were for someone as out of line as Gretchen. There’s a possibility that it goes somewhere.

The only impeached American politician who's as brazenly corrupt as Whitmer was Andrew Johnson, who was literally acquitted by a single vote. If the thresholds for impeachment at the state level only require a majority and not strictly a supermajority, she's fucked.

The national DNC would also be glad to throw her under the bus since she's state-level and doesn't have the dynastic prestige of Cuomo and unlike Northam, she's not the governor of one of those dang dirty Southern states that needed to be put in their place.

Ralph Northam and Terry McAuliff more or less transformed one of the Southern states and a Bible Belt stronghold into a deep blue stronghold (with help from Bloomberg and NoVA yuppies, but still) so they're set for life in the Democratic Party on the national level.

Whitmer doesn't have that in her favor since Michigan is a Northern state that went from a deep blue union state to a potential swing state under her watch. She's more corrupt than a Third World dictator and doesn't have the excuse of being from New York and belonging to a political dynasty like Andrew Cuomo does

The DNC disavowing Gretchen would probably actually help them in Michigan more than if the national-level Dems stood by her.

Huh, maybe this is what Brandon Straka was referring to when he said on War Room that he was not going to speak at the Stop the Steal on Saturday and would hold his own Walk Away rally the next day. He said conservatives have “too many egos” and were letting it get in the way of organizing.
Yes, Ali won't want to share, he'll need to get his own grift started.

We may have a happening in NV after all.

So I've underestimated the great Rudloph at his legal prowess?
That depends. I am not sure how much age might have worn the edge he used to have. When he was younger though, he was a legal monster to go up against. If he retained even half his edge he is a DAMN fine lawyer. Not terribly great at playing the optics/media game (As the laptop thing shows),
