Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

I think this is part of why conservatives are so slow to violence, but as the saying goes tend to view it as a switch that goes from no violence to kill everything. If you're going to tear everything down, may as well go for the clean sweep. Think of the time between the Collapse of the Western Roman Empire to the establishment of a new lasting political order with Charlemagne. Extreme, sure, but we're talking centuries. I'm pretty sure the Goths and Franks were far more interested in building functional societies than the Left is too.
It is part of it. The other part is that conservatives probably have more societal connections and people relying on them not to do something stupid that gets them put in jail.

You know what else would help small businesses? Not forcing them into bankruptcy with lockdowns and restrictions you gigantic faggot.

The other thing that would have helped would be to not allow Antifa and Friends to trash small businesses in the name of BLM. Yeah, I know this is Portland and such a statement is optimistic :optimistic: at best, but it's quite late to be worrying about the fate of small businesses now after ignoring what happened to many of them all summer long.

Tomorrow, Tyrant Walz is going to end fall high school sports in the middle of their playoffs. Winter sports will not be allowed to start. He is messing around with holidays and now the greatest Minnesotan pastime: hockey. Will this be the last straw? Who knows.
The same thing happened in Michigan. Fall high school sports are officially suspended even though both girls volleyball and girls swim and dive were supposed to have their state championships this week. Football had three weeks left and people are trying to figure out if and how it could resume in December if the orders expire after three weeks -- something which is doubtful at best if 3 weeks turns into months again as it did in March.

All winter school-sponsored sports are also temporarily suspended. There's talk that the schedule could simply be pushed back with games starting in January and wrapping up the post-season in early April in a best-case scenario. At this point, though, who knows?

Ironically enough, there was a news article today (conveniently hidden behind a paywall) on how teens are suffering through mental health issues through all of this. As much as it's justified to criticize the overall lack of coping skills in the snowflake era, the powers that be seem oblivious to the fact that taking away activities and other outlets for teens during the school year is not healthy for their mental and social needs. What good is a COVID-free body when people have nothing to look forward to and don't know day-to-day what will and won't be allowed on any sort of sustained basis? *sigh* 🤷‍♂️

In other Michigan news, a restaurant lobby group intends to go to court to seek an injunction against the probition of sit-down dining:

Exactly. The conservatives of America have a lot to lose, thus violence is a last resort. But at that point it's like backing a wounded animal into a corner.

Reactions: General Disarray
So the government is advising everyone to live like DSP?

I don't know how anyone can see mayors ordering people to avoid going outside and exercise, yet spending money on unhealthy and overpriced meals and trust them in any way.

Gut feeling- lockdowns can also be used to mold public behaviour. A lot of people operate off of habit, and once you get them onto a new 'habit', that'll be the new normal.

How this dovetails into the whole #GreatReset remains to be seen...

The latest from the county I live in. God damn Nazi Newsom to hell, the lowest circle.

ANYTHING GOES AS GOVERNOR UPENDS 'TIERS' RATING SYSTEM

• Statewide surge in cases leaves economic future in doubt

A little more than two months after introducing what he said would be a "slow and stringent" method for assessing county-by-county coronavirus infections rates throughout the State of California, Gov. Gavin Newsom upended the entire scheme yesterday and immediately put 39 of the state's 58 counties into the highest level of economic shutdown. Newsom made the move in response to what he said was an "unprecedented" surge in cases in many parts of the state over the last 10 days.

The change had no immediate impact on Monterey County, which has already been in the state's Purple Tier — the strictest — ever since Newsom announced what he called the "Blueprint for a Safer Economy" Aug. 28.

But even for Monterey County, the changes announced by Newsom yesterday will make it more difficult to track our progress under statewide guidelines for measuring the severity of the local coronavirus epidemic. Not only did Newsom undo the relationship of each county's case and positivity rates to their reopening status, he canceled what had been an orderly, every-Tuesday schedule for updating them. From now on, the California Department of Health said on its website this morning, "Tier assignments may occur any day of the week and may occur more than once a week."

We will continue monitoring those announcements and report them to you as warranted, as well as tracking the Monterey County health department's daily updates of local coronavirus data, as we have been doing since the epidemic began.

Speaking of which, the rate of new infections in Monterey County has returned to the recent "normal" after Sunday's shocking 265 total; yesterday, there were 76 new cases, the health department said, and today there were 79. The current 7-day average of new cases per 100,000 residents per day in the county is 22.3, and the testing positivity rate stands at 14.15 percent. (Please check the tables and charts below for the latest data for your community.)

The bottom line is, while cases are still few and far between in many parts of the Monterey Peninsula, they remain high elsewhere in Monterey County, and we have a long way to go before our epidemic will be considered controlled enough for us to take additional steps toward economic reopening.

To see the most up-to-date charts and tables from the county health department, click here. Below, you can also find the updated versions of our charts showing coronavirus infections countywide and in the Monterey Peninsula, along with the data for hospitalizations and our chart breaking down Monterey County's coronavirus cases and infection rates by zip code. It’s easy to make a vaccine - any half competent group can bang out a few candidates in the lab. There are well used and various ‘platforms’ for doing it.
The hard bit is making sure what you made is safe and works.

Remember when China came out with a "vaccine" almost immediately? It was within the first few weeks of the pandemic. Deactivate the virus with heat and combine it with some kind of immune insult like mercury and there you go. Did it work? Who knows. Nobody ever seemed to mention it again so probably not.

I'd be interested in data about vaccinating people who have already had COVID-19 since it's very likely that I'll be forced to do it. Of course no such data is available.

New Orleans announces there will be no parades for Mardi Gras next year.

  1. Is the City of New Orleans celebrating Mardi Gras in 2021?
  • The City of New Orleans cannot cancel Mardi Gras because it is a religious Holiday, however we will not be able to celebrate the Holiday this year as we have in the past
  1. Will there be parades in the City of New Orleans this year?
  • Parades of any kind will not be permitted this year because large gatherings have proven to be super spreader events of the COVID-19 virus
https://www.nola.gov/mayor/2021-mardi-gras/faq/ (https://archive.vn/d8Gqn)

These mayors and governors are trying to decimate small businesses and totally wreck their cities' budgets. Mardi Gras generates around $1 billion dollars for the local economy.

You know, I wonder trying to do this like around the 50's when the western world was peaking...how would it go?

That generation that just fough and won WORLD WARS being told to bend their rights because of China's cough....

They would probably laugh at your face, call you a commie spy, properly trial you and then drop you off at a high security prison for idealogical perversion of the american cultural landscape.

so some bits are not being skipped, just done on the hoof, but my main worry is sample size and follow up duration. The adverse events you see after six months of trial in 30k people are not necessarily what you’d see in millions after years.

But we know the effect if we let millions of people get the coof, so it's at least a partially calculated risk. How many people would the vaccine have to kill to make it worse than not getting vaccinated? And at what age, since years of life is the currency used in these transactions?

Definitely laugh. With fewer obese people and old people, they'd barely notice the "spike" in deaths.

I spent two hours on the phone yesterday so as I could get through to my doctor's surgery to see a doctor. That is a first in my life. Apparently the Covid has caused much upheaval and consequences will never be the same again.

Fucking two fucking hours. Of being cut off, of hearing the same message over and over and over...

Thankfully I got a call back from a really nice lady doctor and not that cunt of a man I had to deal with last time. She actually cared. I was touched. I've learned to discern the difference between those pretending to give a fuck and those actually giving a fuck. Not to mention those who don't even pretend to give a fuck (last asshole doctor). She restored my faith not just in Doctors, but humanity.

Must be pretty rough for someone right now suffering with a bit of bleeding from the anus. A bit of a lump on the tit. A bit of a black mark on the back you never noticed before. A bit of a sore throat that just won't go away. Those bits of blood you keep on coughing up that seem to have lung matter in them.

The cure is more of a killer than the disease.

We are in the early days of this. The first impact won't be felt until early next year at the very soonest. There are already so many shops that just don't exist any more. They won't be coming back next year when things get better. We are still in the shock and awe and being slapped about phase of this particular psy-op. I feel I have a certain perspective with things because this shit don't make much difference to me and my lifestyle, so I can observe from afar, with detachment. It's not good.

There will be jobs that won't exist next year. There will be businesses that won't exist next year. There will be whole industries that will be pale figures of themselves next year.

Two fucking hours to answer the fucking phone? Why? I ain't even mad bro'. It just doesn't make sense. I mean, I live in a part of the UK that has the absolute lowest incidence of Corona. It's rural, but it's not exactly middle of nowhere, there is infrastructure. It's just an excuse.

I'm pretty happy I get to see a nice doctor next week. Like I said, I ain't mad. But for all those that are really vulnerable, who can't spend two hours on the phone to just make an appointment? And there are no more real appointments with real doctors, it's all phone triage. I just don't understand why if there are so few cases in our area. Why have they shut everything down?

===

On another note.

I was walking back from the shop the other day and I muttered out loud to myself:

FUCK ME, PEOPLE REALLY ARE FUCKING MORONS AREN'T THEY - NOT DIFFICULT TO SEE HOW THE NAZIS GASSED 6 MILLION JEWS...

I had old ladies in the shop shouting at me to keep my distance. I had old ladies passive-aggressively walk on to the road in front of oncoming traffic to avoid me on the pavement (sidewalk). Tut-tut-tutting along the way. The fucking old cunts.

People are losing their rag. I can see how the ovens were loaded up now. It was by people like this. Old respectable ladies who turned a blind eye for the good of wider society. I wanted to fucking knock the old coffin-dodgers out with a rabbit punch!

But instead, what did I do?

I asked the bitch/cunt of an old lady who had a full fucking shopping trolly of goods in a small fucking corner shop (who said that she couldn't move because her ankle was broken - still wheeling around her BIG fucking shopping trolly though) if she wanted a hand so I could help her get her shopping trolly of goods home in time without her breaking her little old ankle further. She declined. Oh well, you do what you can do.

Kill them with kindness.

Any excuse to be a cunt.

These were the people that manned the gas chambers.

Never forget that.

They think it's their duty.

Based on Joe's plan for COVID-19, it's clear that there will be no repercussions towards China going forward and that we'll cuck ourselves towards China once again.

  • Immediately restore our relationship with the World Health Organization, which - while not perfect - is essential to coordinating a global response during a pandemic.
  • Expand the number of CDC's deployed disease detectives so we have eyes and ears on the ground, including rebuilding the office in Beijing.

Jake Tran predicted as much.

Im sorry but I feel like I gotta vent here.

Its not a matter that if they may or may not be trying to kill small-medium businesses. They ARE.

And what happened to my already heavily struggling restaurant is evidence.

First off, I will share the very unpopular opinion (tho thats why Im here, isnt it?) that most labor laws are bullshit. Now, yes, I want workers to have rights because I hate when anyone is abused...however, I will not also act like workers cant look at labor laws and abuse them and know they can and will get away scott free with it. LIke with any law, it has basically become a business for lawyers and judges to make cash off workers that felt like they "have been wronged" (when in reality they were fired because they were legit incompetent) and businesses that did everything according to the laws but are still getting punished either way.

I feel like people have this image of the world that most business owners are cartoon bosses like Mr Crabs where we are money grubbing monsters, when in reality we are just everyday people just working hard to create and build something of our own and that not always the people we hire are doing their best work. The worker is always the "little guy" thats standing against the "goliath". We are always the "previleged" ones.

Flash news, assholes, we run this country, not the unemployment check leeches. We keep getting sued by fired workers over made up accusations of abuse, when in reality they are assholes trying to get back at us for daring to imply they werent working what they are being paid for.

Consider this, we cant fire pregnant ladies. Thats fine by itself but no one considers that the lady may think "if I keep getting pregnant, they cant fire me!"...and thats what happens. Our business must be a place of fertility because they keep getting pregnant, even after only months after the previous birth. And they can take months off while getting entire paychecks from us without any sort of consequence. Thats fucking bullshit and the government will never address it because people would rather believe that "workers could never abuse their bosses " and that "labor laws need actual punishing for abusing them". We finally fire the lady after her, I shit you not, THIRD birth before she can get pregnant again and there we go, she sued us along with other workers we had to let go because of this corona crisis.

And also consider this, experts came over to see if there were any basis of truth to those accusations like "dangerous work enviroment" and you know what they found? Nothing...absolutely nothing.

And it doesnt matter because we dont live in a world where a judge would laugh off this baseless accusations and tell the workers to not waste their time. We live in a world where the judge WILL make a case out of nothing and demand the company shell out more-than-ever essential money to the bitches that know they can abuse the system scott free.

We even got an audio from their lawyer and since he knows that they will lose (but still win either way) he wants to make a deal and, I shit you not again, he freudian slipped that "its about just the money" oh...okay...SO IT IS ABOUT THE MONEY, motherfucker ! Thats why no one likes lawyers and see them as leeches...because thats what they are. They are god damn leeches standing by other leeches!

But even with all of that, I still didnt get to the major point of where I was getting at. The government is actively doing Mafia tactics now. Allow me to tell you the story...

We were "randomly selected" to be inspected by a government fiscal inspector, a woman by the by, and she found...nothing wrong actually! We are clean!...Oh but whats this? You have this retired worker thats away because of the corona crisis ? Well, we cant have that, you own him 500 bucks now. And yes, my friends, she pulled this out of her stinking ass and just says we now own money to this worker who isnt even in this state anymore! We tried to appeal but, of course, we got variations of "Yeah, she cant do this, except she can.". She cant "legally" do it but she can still practically do it. We do have the "Option" to appeal in the courts...

But lets be real here, we know its a fucking waste of money and time, we are going to lose and then have to pay even more and then our useless lawyer too. We are basically being extorted money from the government, the ministry of economy to be more specific...their fucking thugs can come in, fucking give us a proposition we cant refuse and then refuse to accept any of our direct communications with her to argue our way out of it ("aparently" she only responds to emails once a month...what?!) and we know that her higher ups will basically tell us to hope the system thats extorting us to get us out of this pickle.

All this mid fucking economy crisis caused by these snakes. We are getting evidence that they are literally trying to murder us one by one. Whats the point of following ALL the regulations if they can still come at us and say "Yeah, but we can still make up a situation". We refuse to pay? Why we fine you! We refuse to pay that? Why, now what you have is ours !

How is that not mafia/commie tactics?! HOW?! Its legalized extortion! All more power to the state and their mega corporation allies, huh?!

Cuck Hogan: BuT mAsKs WoRk, GuYs!!!!!! tHe CdC sAiD sO!!!

Helicopter parenting cranked all the way up. I bitched because Millenials never got out from under mommy's skirt until they were in their 20s. Zoomers are getting it worse.

I sperged pretty hard about this a week ago about how fucked everything is because they still haven't fixed the phone trees and voicemailboxes so that people can "work from home" effectively. It's everywhere too. Every industry has this problem and is struggling to get shit done because of simple things like scheduling and accounts management. All the office drones punched out and can't seem to muster a fuck to fix it. That's not their job. IT takes care of that. If they have to work to do it then they need to get a raise or overtime or something. So it stays broken.

Police will now accompany health inspectors as they go tut-tut-ing and fining businesses. Why? Because there was a small Trump rally at Serb Hall in Milwaukee, and some inspectors got jostled around a bit (and apparently they also received death threats lol). The fuckers didn't dare go out to the violent riots and try that shit, now did they? Nope, just smear a gathering of Trump supporters.

I repeat, the POLICE will now accompany the health inspectors to be sure everyone is wearing their muzzles properly and are a proper distance apart!

Also just in - singing Christmas carols and drinking alcohol are high-risk activities. NO FUN, SIT DOWN, SHUT UP, and just let us destroy your business and livelihood. Comply, citizen!!
