Did he ever talk about Taylor Swift or his hooker trips at all during this time? He supposedly "discovered" her music in jail and this was about the time he started seeking hookers so did either subject ever come up? Also, was he the kind of guy who would initiate conversations or was he super shy?
When I knew him it was before his pursuit of getting into "the biz". He was really focused on trying to work in a law firm. His dreams of getting into "the biz" started when he got fired from his paralegal job for his shenanigans and burned bridges to work in a law firm again. I had no idea about his hooker endeavours until after he graduated. If he would have talked about this at school he would have been kicked out since it is a Mormon school and you have to follow a code of conduct that entails not fucking hookers. He is not shy at all and will talk to anyone in person. This can be seen by him trying to approach girls out of nowhere. I have not seen anyone be confrontational with him so I don't know if he is shy in those types of situations.

So did you have any of the same classes with him or just go to the same school? Im just curious if he was well known enough to be avoided by everyone or if most people just found out he was a creep by talking to him

I had a few classes with him at LDS Business College yeah. People definitely knew him for walking up to random girls and asking them out.

So you've witnessed his epileptic tard hakas (dancing) in class? There's one video showing butternut executing his greasy gourd mating dance on youtube and it's clearly inside a college classroom.
Also since he allegedly was the only one who seemed to read his textbooks, that confirms that he was never any good whatsoever at understanding law or being a competent paralegal. I'm sure at least one teacher and possibly the dean who had to place all responsibility on the young ladies to make sure butternut tard isn't triggered in his wee wee by existing told him the exact same thing.

Did you also take 4-5 years like he did? Lol just kidding. But did you know him in his first half or last half of school? Italy's our understanding he took sabbatical for working a bunch of jobs and hookers.

@Riske_boy , welcome to the thread! Here’s a question: did you ever get the sense that Russell was being cut slack due to his disability?
Clearly they cut him slack if he was know for harassing females and no one stopped him.

Keep in mind that in LDS young single adult culture, returned missionaries are encouraged to date a lot of different women as part of the process for finding a spouse (and vice-versa). Women get asked out a lot and are probably more open to dating someone they're not necessarily super attracted to because it's not a commitment for sex, it's simply a social activity.

So there is more frequently tolerance for "that guy" that is kind of obnoxious about it as long as he's not hounding the same female (which we know that he eventually did).

Also people are going to try to be as charitable as possible for someone who has some obvious limitations because they're trying not to be cruel. My biased opinion is that a lot of LDS people are extremely accommodating because they're genuinely trying to apply their religious principles. Of course this leaves the door open to people who will take advantage of that nature and there are more than a few examples of LDS conmen like Trevor Milton.

It's a difficult thing to navigate when your organization is tasked with both the temporal and spiritual welfare of its membership.

I think you are onto something there, there is a difference between reading and understanding.

For example Russ could read the Judge when he says "I don't believe this was filed in good faith"

But he doesn't understand it, he just assumed good faith meant what he thought it meant, not in the real, legal definition of the phrase.

There is a reason it took him 5 years to earn a 2 year degree. He thinks he is a knowitall, he can play Peanuts on piano and he thinks he is Elton John

He seems to struggle with unlearning what he has learned (except when it comes to hygiene, for some reason; I bet he was always a filthy little shit who had to be ordered to clean himself). Maybe he can't modify his mental definition of "good faith" to incorporate the new meaning of the phrase when in a legal context.

Sounds like that Trevor guy is a sex pest too. A cousin accused him of sexually assaulting her at their grandfathers funeral when he was 18 and she 15. Another woman has accused him when she was 15 and he 22 and apparently he was bragging about taking her virginity.

He thought "in good faith" meant "I think I'm right." And the judge had to tell him that's not what it means in legal matters. Since the suit wasn't filed in good faith, that's why Skordas was able to ask for legal costs and get them. For a long time Russ referred to that as a "fine" until someone explained it wasn't. I still don't think he understands why he had to pay.
