Yes.So, is the whole "the election was stolen from us" narrative going to become the right wing version of the Russiagate conspiracy? Are we going to deal with 4 years of these dipshits bitching about the stolen election?

Yeah, it's a false equivalency, a bunch of people were found guilty (or plead guilty) of illegally influencing the 2016 election and even more were charged with covering up the illegal attempts. Sure, it wasn't all Russia and we have legitimate reasons to question its impact, but there was definitely illegal foreign cooperation within the Trump campaign. Not really. The "Russiagate conspiracy" was real.
Bold of you to assume they read the entire bible.Did all the bible-thumping hillbillies that worship Trump skip that whole "Do not worship false idols," part of the bible? Cause if there was a God, 2020 could be considered a Greatest Hits of divine punishment. All we missed was the raining frogs at this point and we still got a month and a half to go so those could be on the way.
From what we’ve been seeing, Trump is the one who doesn’t get how numbers work.
How the fuck can a furfag claim to be Native American and European at the same also lol at the furfag wanting to repeal gay rights when furries are one of the most gay communities out there.
I think a big reason why he didn't do this is to bank in on polarization. A big part of his 2016 election was to split the nation with his rhetorics. He probably figured that the same tactic would win him the election again. It's funny how easily Trump could have won if he wasn't an idiot. The pandemic was the golden opportunity for him to secure his votes, but his stupidity got the better of him.
- He should have started the quarantine immediately. Sure, it would hurt the economy, but it would still be better in the long run than having to deal with the aftermath of a disease which is on its way to kill a 100 times more people than the worst terrorist attack in America's history. And that is ignoring the people which will suffer permanent organ damage.
- Trump's followers probably won't listen to the doctors, but they will listen to him. He should have encouraged responsible behavior. Make mask wearing and social distancing a civic duty. His followers would've blindly followed his words.
- At least pretend to give a shit about the democrats. Give a talk about how we are all in this together, don't vilify half of the population.
- He should have tried to paint himself as a voice of reason when the George Floyd protests started. Give a talk about how this is not the time to write history, but rather that people should stay safe at home and avoid large crowds no matter what. I doubt that the protests would have been as bad if he at least tried to negotiate with people.
- Don't hold rallies. Did he have a death wish? Was his ego seriously so big that he couldn't realize that those rallies are basically death traps?
- Make the fact that he is doing everything he can to protect people from the virus the main selling point of his campaign. I bet most Biden voters were just desperate and afraid. They didn't want to die a painful death and get buried in a mass grave.
I think the only way to really control the pandemic was to close the borders and impose centralized quarantine procedures. The states that adopted this approach have done quite well in supressing the disease, while every state that doesn't fails eventually. It's funny how easily Trump could have won if he wasn't an idiot. The pandemic was the golden opportunity for him to secure his votes, but his stupidity got the better of him.

Forgive me, but I'm gonna add onto this. It's funny how easily Trump could have won if he wasn't an idiot. The pandemic was the golden opportunity for him to secure his votes, but his stupidity got the better of him.

So basically what you are saying is:Forgive me, but I'm gonna add onto this.
7. He should've actually done something about the riots instead of just tweeting that he was "monitoring the situation very closely". Whether that would be to instate the Insurrection Act, or some other measures, he should've done something instead of just waiting for the governors to cave, and come to him which he should've known they never would've fucking done.
8. Just vocally, and publicly disavow any, and all far-right groups. I don't care if Trump isn't actually racist, or not. The fact that he couldn't just nut up, and say that he had nothing, and wanted nothing to do with them was mindblowingly stupid, and a huge blow to him.
9. Stopped trying to get into fights with Twitter over Section 230. Yes, I know Biden wants to repeal it too, but that doesn't excuse Trump for wanting to do the same thing for an even stupider reason.
10. Didn't break up an actual peaceful protest for a fucking photoshoot. That was just inexcusable.
11. Lastly, and what probably damaged him the most in the long run, didn't discourage his voters from voting by mail. Had he not done that, and instead encouraged to do so by promoting all the benefits of voting by mail, I think he might've actually won.
I'm not 100% sure, but didn't he actually send federal officers to Portland?7. He did eventually, but even that backfired when the people he sent in started throwing random citizens into unmarked vans.I'm not 100% sure, but didn't he actually send federal officers to Portland?
There's a precedent that during wartime, the incumbent typically wins. Trump could have treated this as a war against COVID, and tried to unite the country against a common enemy - the disease. But he's a moron, what do we expect?I think a big reason why he didn't do this is to bank in on polarization. A big part of his 2016 election was to split the nation with his rhetorics. He probably figured that the same tactic would win him the election again.
