And again we don't know if the Republicans actually signed or not. If they did, they can't do shit now unless they go to the MI courts and have the case sped through the courts for a certification whose deadline already passed.

This is why I believe the affidavits are the bigger news than the attempt to withdraw their votes.

This opens the door for obvious lawsuits to be filed, which is a good thing given the circumstances.

Fantastic news coming from Michigan, but it's definitely not over yet.

The Republicans in Wayne County absolutely played their cards right. It wasn't the "reversal" of their votes that makes the news good ... It's the fact that they also signed affidavits claiming that their families were threatened over all of this (and ... Yeah, they fucking were).

This should help out a LOT in court ... Though nothing is a guarantee, of course. It's definitely encouraging news.

EDIT: If Wayne County's votes are thrown out, then Trump absolutely wins the state ... And John James becomes a Senator. Even if this still ultimately leads to Trump losing the Election, that potential Senate gain is yuuuuuge.

Imma start saying some prayers now and hope this plays out the way it should.

That's kinda the point I'm trying to make. If they do a good enough job of painting a Trump win as a coup (he did just reshuffle the upper echelons of the military, after all), then they become the heroic resistance keeping the ports open for the liberators to come in and fight off Trump's Fascist perversion of the US Military. If the media can convince people that Biden won the election, it can convince them that the ChiCom troops are there for their own good.
