CNN acting like people haven't been throwing up dozens, if not hundreds of these cases.

...also, this is just desperate. Let's ignore that there's no verification that this isn't just a rando who claims to be the woman in question-- suppose that there just happens to be a woman with the same exact name who was born in the same exact year and the same exact month but a different day.

Is the claim that Tucker misrepresented the voter record? Can't be-- they say that the woman also bore that name, so either they're tacitly alleging that there are two people with that name born in the circumstances aforementioned, or the writer of this article needs a stern talking to because he allowed his snark to corrupt the clarity of his news report.
Yes, I'm aware that this is only one case, Tucker has had to withdraw a number of other false claims about voters being deceased, and no longer makes any specific allegations (i.e. any real allegations, with evidence). Not to mention, I've heard of the phrase "quantity has a quality of its own" but when you're trying to allege widespread voter fraud, it seems like you should have thousands of lies about "dead voters" who aren't, not literally dozens.

You clearly don't understand how voter records work and what anyone with any connections to the political system can get across the US (and complete randoms for most of the US)- dates of bith are included on the rolls in almost all cases, as they were in this case. Noone who didn't want to get egg on their face would dox someone on the internet solely on the basis of a name and a similar state without corroborating evidence, it's irresponsible and can cause unfortunate incidents, but I guess when Trump has campaign debts to con gullible supporters into paying that requires a lower standard of evidence.
Let's not forget Biden will do horrible things to the Supreme Court and if Judges sided with Biden over fear of riots then they can be easily intimidated by whoever to get whatever they want
Wait, I thought the argument for Trump was that he had cemented a bunch of Supreme Court judges for life. Are you saying that's actually totally meaningless?

The PA MD court has decided to waive the ban of recordings of the case and put the recording on its website

Now you can listen to the audio rather than reading The Washington Post ("Democracy dies in darkness") write very one sided articles about how it's all nonsense

Rob Reiner has been shitting on Cocaine Mitch for eons by now and still expects him to act against Trump.

What is with Democrats not understanding they the majority of Republicans are Republicans for a reason and if they wanted to be on team blue, its pretty easy to change voter registration.

supressing the thruth is all about force, not belief.
And overcoming that suppression by force is all about perseverance and moxie-- that "If the world stands against me, I stand against the world" attitude.

How's that Persian spring coming along?
The sharif doesn't like it.

What's the name of that fallacy or phenomenon where you read something in the news that you know is blatantly false, you wonder how it could have gotten into print, but then you go on and read other stories in the same paper and treat them as true? As if you had never encountered the article you know is full of shit?

Gell-Mann amnesia effect

“Briefly stated, the Gell-Mann Amnesia effect is as follows. You open the newspaper to an article on some subject you know well. In Murray's case, physics. In mine, show business. You read the article and see the journalist has absolutely no understanding of either the facts or the issues. Often, the article is so wrong it actually presents the story backward—reversing cause and effect. I call these the "wet streets cause rain" stories. Paper's full of them. In any case, you read with exasperation or amusement the multiple errors in a story, and then turn the page to national or international affairs, and read as if the rest of the newspaper was somehow more accurate about Palestine than the baloney you just read. You turn the page, and forget what you know.”

This is the one that was livestreamed on twitch anyway, right?

Not all of it and that Twitch livestream was of questionable legality. Until now that is when the court suspended the rule that made it questionable.

If this court case was going to be a snow job then the court wouldn't have suspended the rule and the only coverage people would get would be from the Washington Post. Which claims any sort of election shenanigans in 2020, but not in 2016, is all conspiracy theories and nonsense.

It's also interesting that, if the court case was going to be a snow job, the judge could have just thrown out the claims which the Washington Post points out he did not

In a heated 45-minute speech delivered over a patchy telephone link, Mark Aronchick, an attorney representing several Pennsylvania counties, said that Giuliani was ignorant of the law, living in “some fantasy world” and pushing wild allegations that were “disgraceful in an American courtroom.”
Aronchick concluded by urging Brann: “Dismiss this case. Please, dismiss this case. So we can move on.”

[Judge] Brann declined to do so, setting a deadline of 5 p.m. Wednesday for the president’s team to file a motion opposing the election officials’ attempt to dismiss the lawsuit.

Since then the Republican state legislature submitted an amici curiae to say that ballot curing, which the election officials admitted happened in Democrat-run counties, is illegal.

I'm wondering if the Trump Campaign may actually win in PA MD courts and not need to go to the SCOTUS. Where they'd win.

If they win in PA MD that's a major thing.

I wonder if someone like Alito could submit an amicus curiae to say that the state legislator has, in his opinion, the final say on what is legal and what is not in elections because of Article 2 Clause 2 of the US constitution.

he's not tied to the trump campaign, he's a side guy doing his own thing. perhaps Wood is the feint charge while Trump is coming from the rear for a pincer. or Wood's just a loony lawyer doing loony lawyer things.
Don't underestimate the importance of appealing to the religious voters who are feeling alone and confused like never before

My Avenetti concern is that he's a big brash vocal guy who seems to talk bigger than he acts. This partially comes from one of the lawyers representing other kids from the Catholic School who was very critical of his showmanship in the Sandman case, as well as him injecting himself into the Kyle Rittenhouse situation. So far I've not been impressed.

I'm worried he's going to fuck up Georgia in trying to make a bigger name for himself. I'm not saying he's just full of hot air, just that he gives me a bad feeling and he's latched on to something super important.

I’d like to think at least Thomas and Kavanaugh would have the resolve to tell those provokers to pound sand.
