I really want to feel bad for him but I just can't, he apologized to these psychopaths and there's no turning back from something like that. They will use that as a 100% admission of guilt.

To quote Ya Boi Zack:

Some people like Vic didn't know that but someone like Chris probably should've.

All this canceling shit has me exhausted.

Seriously. It's why I've taken a break from Weeb Wars for a hot minute. Holidays are coming up too and I don't wanna carry this on my shoulders, you know?

It's so sad seeing people flip between loving and hating at the drop of a hat because someone threw an accusation out there or someone posted wrongthink or whatever. I don't like it at all.

I believe wrongdoers should absolutely be punished but it seems like the real stories of abuse get buried in favor of sensationalized lies if those lies can bring down someone high profile or at least create controversy.

Anyway, that's my rambling for now...

3 things we have learned from the Vic case.
1) NEVER APOLOGIZE
2) Vic was a much bigger threat to the Dallas VA clique than he ever could imagine.
3) If appeals go for Vic, the threat to the VA's and anyone who might try this will really be nuclear because someone will sell out to cover their own ass or assess and will throw and then run the bus over that or those persons a dozen times.

He seemed fine the last few months. In September he posted on Facebook about getting a new demo reel done. He even left heart responses to my comments.

I know he had gained weight for a live action role years ago and then lost it. I hope it wasn't heart trouble. It happens a lot especially late 40s. Or it could be Corona.

Episode 1 had the original characters and did some backstory to the series. He reprised Miroku for that. If I recall, they had all the original VAs except Kagome’s, since she retired. The series is being released both subbed and dubbed on Funi, Hulu, and Crunchy

I mentioned to a friend that Kirby passed and gave Miroku as a voice for him to place as he's seen the OG and has plans to watch Yashahime. He thinks it was either a freak but sudden accident OR (and this is a terrible conspiracy theory) was axed so someone else could take the role of a beloved character (which doesn't make sense cause if that was the case then miroku would have just been recasted). Either way my friend was sad to hear of Kirby's passing.

If it was a car accident or something, you can live with that. But if it was covid or another illness.....that's just heartbreaking
