I think we’re fairly nice to Jess. If she listened to some of the criticism she’d make more than one or two amusing comics a year.

Classic Lolcow Deflection; all posters are kiwi farms are [insert straw man group here] and are very mad and super duper angery that [lolcow's identifying group] exists.
You usually see this with far left cows accusing us all of being neonazi, far-right white cishet incels, but there exists far-right and/or incel cows who believe we're comprised solely of SJWs/feminazis/etc. People have a hard time accepting that people of walks of life come together and put aside their differences to laugh at them.
Because Jess is the worst kind of "creative": one that isn't trying to entertain, but affirm a belief or preach a message. Her comics exist solely to attract similarly narrow-minded people or to attempt to piss off people she hates. In that way she's not unlike stonetoss (although he "has a point" or creates funny content on a more frequent basis than jess I'd say)
Bradley and New Guy are by and large her two most popular creations ever and she treats them as complete failures. Why? Bradley because he was made to mock people like us, and we nearly universally loved him so she failed. Bradley existed so far in that jess believed her detractors would be offended by him, and when he failed to do that she shelved him. The new new guy stuff is a permutation of that; new guy was used as a rallying point for a ton of point to come and shit on jess for her abysmal attitude so now she's made him a commie to """own""" the "neo Nazis" who were upset that she was so insensitive about the pewds robbery thing (even tho he was clearly designed to be a not-so-subtle skinhead imo). Compare this to Shen, the Legendary Bike Cuck, who later took his infamous comic and mocked it himself for laughs. She could have easily capitalized on the New Guy love/hype and made a comic where he talks her down and convinces her she was being insensitive, they hug and make up, but she didn't; because "owning" someone else and "being right' takes priority above all else

I'm not so sure about this one. Don't get me wrong, Jesse is definitely an asspat whore, but he also once made a comic complaining about nobody liking any of his stuff that wasn't about trans issues. Jesse does have very occasional flashes of self awareness.But that doesn't promote Jess's identity as a trans lesbian or get her asspats from the pity party that is the trans comic artist Twitter community!

Sadly that was a while ago and Jesse seems to have gotten worse and more caught up in the online trans community since then, Jesse definitely seems to be more self aware than the likes of Sophie Labelle though (Who I'm surprised Jesse badmouthed).

I think apart from the misgendering of Jess and the obvious different political views of many posters on here have compared to her own, she gets off pretty lightly in terms of people we slag off. There is a lot of constructive criticism and we do always comment on when her content is done well.
Even with the political stuff, not everyone on here is a right wing Trump supporter.
