It's not a fantasy world. It's how our elections actually work.

The courts themselves can't order it, but Congress sure as shit can when they meet to count and affirm the electoral votes (fun fact: Pence will be chairing that), which seems to be one of the plays. Congress can, should they so choose, just flat out ignore the electoral college and refuse to accept their vote. I don't think it's ever happened, but it's something they can do.

If there's court opinions where the courts say "yes this shit is fucked, but we can't do anything about it" it serves as validation that congress should set aside the electoral votes from those questionable states and will be brought up during the session.

Super low chance of working though. Better chance of the S.C. throwing out hundreds of thousands of ballots than that.

Neither of those is going to happen. Maybe in Trump's autocratic fantasy where he is all-powerful and no one can hurt him. But other than that, its not going to happen. If the Supreme Court wanted to step in, they would have done so by now. It's clear they have no interest in these cases.

That's not entirely true. Historically, all these inconsistencies equated to the changing or negating of 100 or less votes. It seems like everyone that's giving a second look this time around is finding that thousands to tens of thousands of votes are suspect. I'm not a Trump or Biden supporter, but this is turning into the most crooked US election that I'm aware of. I'm not calling for conspiracy or organized fraud, but the "normal" margins of error have been multiplied by factors of 10. That shit is weird to me, just saying. As it's been said many times before, regardless of who takes the office in January, this is quickly becoming a massive erosion of faith in the election system. Even The Hill is indirectly reporting that their internal polls show over 50% of people that voted don't want Trump to concede.
