You have to remember that Colin is basically a lamer, lower (social) class and more stilted version of Contrapoints; he's very much of the old internet atheist/skeptic mould and those types are usually fairly aware that British tabloid reporting isn't all that reliable. And he's not THAT dumb in a conventional sense, he does have an EE degree after all (2nd tier university but it's still engineering so he isn't some sub-100 IQ mutt).

It's like that protest for Black Trans Lives Matter last summer in the UK where the organiser mumbled something about "there aren't any good statistics available" when asked who they were protesting for, rather than admit that they hadn't been able to track down a single dead black tranny in England. Trannies are safe. The cat ladies aren't coming for them. But what can you say to a group of people who genuinely believe that gynaecologists can't tell the difference between a vulva and a saggy, empty scrotum.

I definitely draw the line at children as well and as for the starving part, no, but it comes down to “what can you realistically do?” If it’s someone you don’t know. Maybe I’m a sociopath for thinking that way, but if it was someone I did know I would most definitely intervene.

But what’s your opinion on people who are satisfied with the transition and are happier afterwards? Do you believe there’s more going on behind their head then what’s being lead on? There are some people who have transitioned and are happy with the results and do go on to live relatively decent albeit flawed lives with caveats. What are your thoughts on them?

As long as they don't try to push things on other people, or tear down other people to raise themselves up, I don't care what anyone does in their private life. There are many trans people who loathe these transtrenders more than we do for making their lives harder when they just want to get by day to day. The moment someone tries to paint me or my people as inherently evil for not giving them everything they demand, or they try to influence others/organizations to give them more by taking from others, then they become a threat and worthy of derision.

The ones who just mind their own business (IE. Not posting their pronouns everywhere or living on social media) aren't worth a second thought and that's probably how they like it.

His "sensible" parents flipped their lid and isolated him because he was gay. Not defending Alcorn here but I don't think this is a tragic case of the Tumblr groomers winning out over the poor perfect parents.
