Never have I ever seen a single man so bombastically ruin what I and all of my friends have come to expect from expertly crafted political theatre.
Everything he says, everything he does, it always makes his opponent lose track of their argument, lowers the room's IQ by a factor of 10 and then causes every discussion had thereafter to lower in intellect and gravitas to the level of playground arguing.
Do not ever try to tell me that Blonald Blurmph is a master of anything except sewing chaos and disarray wherever he treads.

Yes, Trump is the avatar of chaos. He's the living fucking embodyment of the american spirit: ultrapatriotic, egotistical, childish and absolutely sick of everyone's shit to the umptieth degree. He feeds off of the suffering of the neoliberals and he shits out pure, undiluted populism. He's like an avatar of change, surrounded by an aura that unveils the rot in society's core wherever he goes, driving the weak to madness and the strong to unyielding rage. He is the god of our world and he has come for all of us.
Or leaving aside the metaphors and exaggerations. Trump's absolutely AMAZING at dismantling the bullshit that has built up over the years. And by god, there was a lotta bullshit to dismantle.
Neolibs and Neocons have been lulling the west into a carefully built soft power based multinational system, carefully constructing a web of favors, regulations, masked dependencies and socioeconomic flows nearly designed to ensure the death of morality. The erradication of true politics, of passion and patriotism, and of anything that would be considered unsavory by their masters. Since the cold war it's devolved into a spiral of intrigue and economic transformations. They did a great job building castles out of air, and ensuring the new dynasties could be kept afloat through control of the global market. Add a tax loophole there, break a country's economy by forcing a trade deal over here, keep out a rival business by planting a protectionist measure over there... Toothpick after toothpick they have covered our world in superstructures impossible to defeat by regular means.
And just when Obama had managed to break the USA and was about to enslave the EU by extending the TPP to us. Just at the very precipice when all those plans were coming to the horrifying conclussion of leaving the whole world's economy irrevocably linked to china and tied to trade deals too big to dismantle without societal unrest mounting up to unsurmountable degrees, exactly the same month talks between the USA ambassador and Rajoi's economic minister were coming to their conclussion.
Trump got elected and he went "nah fuck that" and just erased the TPP in one fell swoop.
They said he was insane. They said he would kill the USA. They said no sane person would ever do such a thing.
But he was not a sane person. He was Donald. Motherfucking. Trump. And he knew damned well what he had to do.
And since then he has done nothing but repeat that feat over and over again. He has carefuly selected the toothpicks that would cause the most superstructure destruction with the least backlash and he has carelessly and bombastically anounced he would burn them to the ground one after the next, forcing the multinational powers to bend or break on his wake.
He really has done nothing but destroy since he was elected. And by god what a beautiful destruction it has been. Wish we had more like him over here in europoor land.
