Giuliani and Trump are both not far from 80 and Powell is 65. I honestly don't think future career opportunities matter to any of these people, they seem like they're going nuclear for the joy of cracking the machine and taking everyone down. It's not even about who's President anymore. They are all type a alpha people and this is probably a lifelong fantasy for at least two out of the three.

They all kind of seem like unpopular kids who were smart and excelled academically (OK remove Trump from that) but they never quite fit in with the cool kids and this is their moment, the ultimate fuck you to a system that is rotting from within and held up by a bunch of arrogant, self serving goblins. Trump is street-smart though, he's a Queens boy and there is no way he got where he is in life and achieved the things he has without doing some heinous things. I don't think there's anyone who is in public life in entertainment or government who is clean and has never done some shady things. Powell seems like a real life version of Carrie at the prom. Every time she gives a press conference she seems ready to nuke anyone who gets on her nerves.

Trump is the underdog here, virtually everyone except a handful of people are against him. The reaction of the media and various politicians indicates that there is truth in the accusations. Not to mention Biden's team has relaunched begging for contributions for his legal fund. If there was no fraud and they knew everything was on the up-and-up and Biden really did win they wouldn't have to resort to threats and intimidation and gaslighting.

The more layers Trump's team peels away and exposes the more intense the manipulation and gaslighting is going to be, we are about to be hit with unprecedented levels of media bullshit within the next few days. Normies who aren't paying attention will think none of this is connected, the world is so horrible but people who are onto this will see the connections . I wouldn't even be surprised if you started seeing stories about how there's a new strain of covid that masks and social distancing don't help or covid lives on your groceries and your packages and cannot be removed etc. . Maybe even some BLM protests to round it all out. They are going to be desperately searching for some random black guy who was shot by absolutely anyone for something to work with. Anything but letting people hear what is actually being said.

I read media from both sides and it is shocking how Lefty's are talking about completely inane things like Rudy's hair dye and the sore loser Nazis who need to just shut the fuck up and Unite with them. Hardcore Trump fans think he's going to save the world, which is impossible. Nobody is going to save the world but Trump would prolong the inevitable a little bit longer.

It all feels so surreal , sort of like what I would imagine it felt like to be on flight 370 out of Malaysia 6 years ago before it disappeared , we are about to vanish off the radar because we are on a plane without a pilot and we just have to hope for the best that we have a smooth landing despite the fact that it looks like we're taking a nosedive straight into the Indian Ocean. If you try to permablock evidence from being displayed the Supreme Court will tear it out of your hands and devour it. Not letting Trump’s team display their evidence to the public is actually a bad move. The SCOTUS isn’t run by idiots, they know that they are the last step and if evidence is being withheld, either by judge order or ending the trial early, they are just going to be more pissed.

If she's not bluffing, I expect she'll provide proof for some of it to get Trump in office but keep the more salacious claims unproven so some powerful people involved can cover their ass with claims of baseless conspiracy theories. I assume when she brought up the involvement of Obama and his friends on twitter, it was a threat.

I think you might be overestimating how much power the president really has, especially in a swamp of traitors and opportunists, one that's been functioning for decades too. As for whether he's lost or won, or whether or not he's doing something about it, none of that is known, and I don't think there's a point in declaring anything just yet, especially in a "desperate times call for desperate measures" situation like this. Regardless, I can't pretend that things don't look grim, and that feeling will get worse the longer the wait is.

I really am fucking terrified of the supreme court in accordance with some of the defendant's behavior. They ARE the law, they WILL be respected, they will NOT be taken for a fool, you WILL obey EVERYTHING ordered or you WILL get an extra fuck you tacked on at the end.
Maybe you have state judges bought off, but the higher ups do things on their watch even if you send them money - its the ego you get from the job. I'd be pissing my pants if I was any one of the states who were headed to it.

You are putting way too much faith in an institution that in the 1850s ordered the Northern States to defy their own laws and become complicit in slavery, in the 1920s ordered a woman to be forcibly sterilized because eugenics was super popular at the time, and in the 1940s ordered US citizens be put in concentration camps because their grandparents came from Japan. The Supreme Court has always been a political body and when the political heat is at its hottest they ALWAYS make the expedient choice. Never mind that that choice is invariably wrong and results in dire long term consequences.

It's not a unreasonable thing to muse about, especially after seeing this election and the past four years, especially if she has more evidence than we do.
