I agree with this, the dislike for this guy is a little over the top considering how lukewarm he is and that's generally fine if you're not a sperg. It's pretty rare nowadays. He gives generally normal thoughts from a normal perspective and people get bored of it on the right because everything in politics has become posturing and a big show. He's the complete definition of political commentary. It's not hot takes, provocative or exciting at all because normally politics are really fucking boring. He's not even offensive enough for the left to normally flip out at.

Yeah, from Styx's perspective he's raking in six figures and won't get any real penalties from reciting certain figures wrong while speaking off the cuff, or for not doing any new research, because at this point his 3-video-a-day youtube quota is just a means of putting in the bare minimum to stay afloat. Maybe he'll go through another phase in the future where he puts in real hard effort, we'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if his wife is pregnant right now and he just hasn't revealed it yet (wouldn't blame him).

It's not a major issue or anything, the guy can take superchats if he wants. I'm still a fan of 90% of his political takes. But the hypocrisy is noteworthy. It's good to remember that no one is infallible.

He's been doing this - to Harris as well - for quite some time. Some of his replies are great, some are a bit cringeworthy. He's taking the "no publicity is bad publicity" approach, which does seem to work, if Trump is any indicator.

Remember when he started a go fund me for a laptop he dropped even though prior to that he was bragging about how much money he makes off of his book business and youtube... Then the dude started making shitty music. The way he blows Donald Trumps cock is nauseating and now he wears a gay red robe made of cotton acting like he is the hugh hephner of politics. As far as I'm concerned he is a lolcow and has been for a while. Some of his occult videos were somewhat interesting.

At least he keeps his videos short and sweet. That is probably why he is the most successful of internet commentators since he keeps it bitesize rather than an hour long video of boredom.

No. He said as much earlier this year that he was just now learning how to make very basic recipes(Like making spaghetti basic. Stuff you probably learned in your early twenties if not late teens) which I found hilarious for all his pretensions about being prepared for some kind of emergency. I don't even think that's ham it's just an uncooked pork shoulder. I'm guessing there was some language barrier miscommunication involved in this in addition to styx's poor cooking skills.

The vegetables are barely even cut too. he probably spent a buttload on organic dutch winter root veg only to boil it down to unseasoned mush. What I could do with these ingredients...
