Megathread SRS and GRS surgeons and associated horrors - the medical community of experimental surgeons, the secret community of home butchers

Here's something I've always wondered why is it that Trans people consider the slightest bit of attention to be fetishizing?
This is the SURGERY thread. Go to tranny discussion instead of derailing the thread. First the femboy bullshit, now this shit. It always turns into endless discussions about anything but surgery.

I seriously don't understand all of these botched FTM top surgeries/mastectomies. They're extremely well-researched and practiced the world over; cisgender women get mastectomies and breast reductions using the same keyhole pedicle technique - including yours truly - without major complications or horrific results. So what the fuck is the issue?

My guess lack of proper after care although honestly idk.

Medical mastectomies and reconstructions do sometimes go wrong, even though they're an old, commonly practiced surgery. I knew a woman who had a double mastectomy for breast cancer and decided to have reconstruction done in the same operation. She got a double infection and between the scars from the original operation, the scars from where they took the reconstructive implants back out, and the scars from numerous drains being put in and taken out, her chest was badly disfigured. It would seem to be a simple operation in plastic surgery terms, removing all the interior tissue of a breast, putting a breast implant in the cavity and sewing everything back together again, but the results were messy, ugly and complex.

To be fair, if you're looking like this guy, I guess I can see that:

I didn't know @Marjan Šiklić trooned out.

I'm wondering now - the mastectomies done for women because of breast cancer or some other health issue are done with a strictly medical outcome in mind. The mastectomies done on FTM trans people are done with a primarily cosmetic outcome in mind. How much does this change about the surgery itself?

All the search results for mastectomies are now a bunch of trans shit and not for women with cancer. *sigh*

Even the "true transsexual scum" trans people hate each other and will attack each other over any perceived fault, and this includes any negative beliefs about the efficacy of surgeons or the necessity of medical transition. Their servers are as much of a hugbox as any other trans server, and they will ostracize you with the same manic glee as other troons if you commit wrongthink. I have sympathy for actually gender dysphoric people, but the majority of "truscum" are the same depraved, fetish-fueled nutjobs masquerading in pink-and-blue gendercult robes that they claim to hate. They are two sides of the same coin.
Thanks for the info. I have to admit I was responding more to reddit/tumblr shit than anything you know, and had no intention to speak over you about stuff you understand, and I don't. Still, I think there's a difference between the kind of internecine cruelty that exists in any subculture and that brought by invaders.

My understanding is that the keyhole technique is only possible for small breasts.

There are some really, really bad mastectomy results out there. Like, significantly more horrifying than FTM ones. I believe it’s because the doctors are leaving some skin so the woman can get implants, though.

Health risks of MtF GRS

I was prepared to snark at the beginning (girl, that chin), but that was just really fucking sad. "I don't regret it because it was the best decision of my life but also I regret it and wish that I had genitals that don't cause me physical pain" was the kicker -- the cope is barely a cope, but the fact that he's still using the "saved my life" line to justify his own butchery is :lunacy:.

Also, we've already seen a few examples on here of erectile tissue being left around the urethra. I assumed at first that it was an extremely unfortunate and somewhat egregious error, since you'd think surgeons would make it a priority when cutting off a dick to not, you know, leave the signature dick functions partially intact (and also leave the patient in terrible pain). But I guess that was very :optimistic: of me.

saved my life
Cope.

Genital multilation that came with various problems & pain is not life saving, it's life shortening because the srs victim has a high chance of 41% themselves.

But that's often the case with srs victims. They complain about their problems but at the same time they claim that they don't regret it. Bullshit.

"Let me tell you about my constant pain & how the surgery was a complete disaster but I don't regret it! Nope, I'm so happy this happened to me!"

It seems like these surgeons sell these surgeries like obesity doctors sell gastric bypass - it's gonna fix everything and all you need to do is get this surgery.

Meanwhile, there is zero work done on the actual mental health issues occuring. Then when there are complications, the patient is always blamed. Meanwhile, the surgeons are just making bank.

So his hole isn't big enough to have sex, but at the same time it's big enough to give him a permanent camel toe big enough to eat up his bikini. On top of that he's got the saggy deflated scrotum look and is getting infections from having it squashed up tightly in his underwear. And his doctor's response is not to schedule surgery, but to anaesthetise him then try to push all the loose bits back inside and hope that they stay this time.

I'd assume it's because there's really nothing you can do once you get SRS - you can't go back to your original genitals once you get it done, plus the cult tends to freeze out people who dare to say it wasn't the best decision of their lives (despite living in constant agony). See also Sharkie who also suffered from several complications and was/is obviously unhappy with the result - yet, totally 10/10 would do it again.

That interview was phrased in a way to avoid showing genuine regret on getting it done, in the first place. But it's obvious that they really do hate it.
