Weren't the two centerpieces of his 2016 campaign to build a border wall and to put Hillary Clinton in prison? Last I checked, he achieved neither.

Not only that, but the trade war did nothing but help China. Then, Trump fucking up the covid response only lead to America's economy tanking and China, realizing that if they quarantine until the virus is gone and take every outbreak very seriously, they can reopen their economy a few months later.

That's literally all politics is for them, conservative politics have always been reactionary.
