Phil has recognized what's important since his honeymoon night, at least he's consistent. For someone with a wife who he wants to spend time with he sure does spend a lot of time on Twitter getting in to random fights.

More motivation to keep lifting/running.
"Look, a waterfall. Huhuhuhuhu"So I’ve been wondering this for a long time now. I know comedy is subjective but I’ve watched DSP try to make thousands of jokes at this point in all the TIHYDP’s and never once have I even smiled. Got me wondering, had Phil ever said anything that’s actually funny? Again I know humor is pretty subjective but just wondering if anyone has ever actually laughed at one of his jokes.
I have never laughed at DSP due to something he meant to be humorous to my recollection. He's done a ton of shit that made me laugh regardless, though.
The moment during his first Scarface playthrough where he needed to shoot three people with a snipe rifle, hit the first two with no problem and then failed to hit the third due to a passing truck gets me every fucking time.
"Fucking car! Blahked me!"
Phil’s one man stand against random streamers getting paid to promote something will never end.
You gave me the idea and I ran with it:

Exactly, Phils idea of humor and jokes are fucking embarrassing and cringe, but Phil’s endless stupidity is incredibly funny. It’s like not finding someone’s joke funny but laughing at them when they fall and hurt themselvesThis really sums it up for me; I'm always laughing at him and never with him.
the only people I can honestly compare phil to are the cast from it’s always sunny. Just absurdly stupid and malicious people . One of the running themes of that show though is all of them are co dependent on each other and when separated for extended periods of time drift back into somewhat normal people. Phil exudes the same toxicity that all 5 members of the sunny cast exude by himselfPhil is like David Brent from the UK office. Smarmy, smug, self important, narcissistic and completely delusional. Except he's also one of the stupidest people on the internet too with no redeeming qualities at all. You literally couldn't write a fictional character like Phil because people would complain that is was too far-fetched that anyone could behave like that in reality. The absurdity of him being a genuine person makes him a must-see attraction.
The world would be a much more interesting place if just ten percent of clickbait headlines were true. Especially if you could pick which ten percent. I'd love to make Rich Evans a 54-year old British shut-in who refuses to move out of his mum's basement even after winning £778,000 in the lottery.>Authorities forcibly examine female passengers after premature baby found in airport bathroom

Remind me which TIHYDP this classic is from?"Look, a waterfall. Huhuhuhuhu"
Best joke of 2020
I second the Question please, I hit up @pigpiggo but it seems every other game of 2020 had a fuckoon waterfall reference.Remind me which TIHYDP this classic is from?
I think you're right about food being some weird factor with his bitterness. This would explain why his parents have taken to sending him Thanksgiving food services or whatever - its something that he has complained about and his mom looked into some way to placate her little Phillip. I don't understand why this is an issue now - with Kat being such a great cook, you'd think she'd be all over whipping up an amazing turkey. It's almost like... a turkey isn't a potato...And while Phil normally gets excited for food, it never seems to be traditional "dinners". He seems to enjoy fast food, overly greasy meals and TV dinners. Plus, since he doesn't cook, he's paying a pretty outrageous price for his precooked meal. Granted, this might not bother him since Phil frequently wastes money, but I could see him being a little more bitter about it if he isn't even getting the usual food he enjoys
He has always been bitter, even pre-Leanna tizzy (hence Rambo's comment that he always bitches up around TG).There's also no personal gain to Thanksgiving. As previously mentioned, it hurts his streams, and unlike some of the other holidays/celebrations he enjoys, he doesn't get any gifts/attention. It's more of a sentimental holiday, and given how Phil is, there's no real value in something like that. This last one might be a bit of a stretch, but it might also remind him of Leanna. I remember him seeming legitimately depressed when the first Leanna-less thanksgiving rolled around. I haven't noticed Phil always being anti Thanksgiving though, so if he was just as bitter during the Leanna years, this doesn't really hold water.
Not sure if it's the right one, but this moment maybe? Timestamp 12:08Remind me which TIHYDP this classic is from?
This really changed the way I look at Phil. He actually thinks he's being funny with his "shitty dicks" style of humor, doesn't he? My God.One time I remember laughing along with DSP was during his South Park playthrough, I wasn't necessarily laughing at something he said but his reaction to the giant ballsack was pretty infectious I have to admit. He was laughing so hard he had to pause the game.
The only time I can remember laughing along with him.
The dude who tells you the game awards don’t matter won’t stop talking about them, Kat needs to take his phone away, this is their day off to lovingly spend together.
I also like how he says the gay girls weren’t part of his official criticism, what a nice little mental technicality to excuse him turning into a blabbering idiot when the girls were making out on screen, definitely didn’t negatively impact his enjoyment of the game.
