I disagree - I think a lot will change culturally within our lifetime, and I think in 15 or 20 years Christian fundamentalism, which has strengthened in variously sequestered areas of the US, will be hugely popular again, though not to the point of being a dominant feature by any means.

Here’s the thing about Biden: he was always put in so he could flush out the shit Trump put the country through. After that, he steps aside and lets Kamala handle things. What happens then is the fix and the machine being patched up, refined, the road to progressive utopia in earnest. Its not up to Trump to throw those out, it must either be done at an electoral commission level, a state legislative level, or demanded by the courts.

It all depends on how they weigh those threats, the threat of fucking up checks and balances and giving the executive even more power than it already has, and the threat of permanently fucking up the court.
