I had to give up on this year's parade. The dead look in the eyes of the performers is what ultimately did it for me. No audience to entertain and interact with? They were adrift! It was upsetting me.

What I did not share, but should have, is that my wife and my daughter have been in Mississippi, where my daughter recently took a job. As the holiday approached, I decided it would be safer for me to travel to see them than to have two family members travel back to Denver.

It's appalling. I think a lot of what is happening, people - as in poliicians-think it will not be noticed. For example, in the UK, Matt Hancock (lol his real name lololol), the department under his control, the department of health and social care, during this crisis, has spent £50,000 (yes, that is the right number of 00000s, no it is not a typo) on hot dinny dins for their staff.


Mr Hancock is Health Secretary, is responsible for the NHS. NHS staff of all grades- porters, lab techs, Nurses, Doctors, etc, don't get meals on their breaks. If they do it is out of their pwn pocket and hospital canteens are either shit or shut if you're on nights. Lots of folk here picking up on it, I know a lot of Mr Flid's colleagues, and him, cos he works in a Hospital, drafted up a letter to Mr Hancock, giving DH&SC staff advice on how to do a 12 hour shift with no food. Tips included "nicotine", "LOTS OF COFFEE" and "cry over the Ginsters pastie you scoff down when driving home".

What these cunts forget is, humans love to bear a grudge. Seriously.

So I am a US kiwi but ive traveled around and in some countrys when its a holiday everything closes, like you d better have gone to the market and got food for the next few days.

When the coof was new we shoulda done that, close the stores and the gas stations and just stop all travel for 21 days. Then just let shit open up. This constant on again off again lock down but protests are okay is giving people whip lash.

Got a cousin whose a nurse in the midwest he told me alot of older farmers are dropping dead along with some health younger nurse dropping dead too. Said he just got an Email from the hospital they are expecting the vaccine in 60-90 days and you ll have to take it.

All the "yung und helfeeeeeee" people dropping dead in the UK are fat. I do not set much store by this sort of thing. If you are young (under 65) and not fat - as in your BMI is 25 and below - and have no pre-existing conditions you will be fine for the overwhelming part.

Food supply lines and maybe power sources could be affected. Please stock up on food and necessities, try not to panic, ffs don't riot or even peaceful protest. We should know by mid-December if this damn virus can be caught more than once or if it mutates.

Despite this post full of spaz, try to be peaceful and enjoy the day. I am going to go have more pie and finish going over my Future Fuckery Provisions and hope I've thought of everything.

There's an Instagram "influencer" who got popular because she works somehow with COVID research. Kinggutterbaby is her account. She told her followers she isn't going home for Thanksgiving, and a few days ago she reveals that she is in fact going home. She said she and her NP sister made an "infection prevention" plan to visit their parents but refuses to say what it was. She is probably getting lots of pushback in her DMs about this. Again, this is "do as I say, not as I do" with these so called experts. If she was really scared of covid, she wouldn't visit family at all and would just stay home. And if she does visit family, just keep it off the gram. Don't act all holier than thou that your plan is safer than anyone else's.

Fauci said at some point that restrictions should remain in place for ONE YEAR after the vaccine is distributed.

I wouldn't be shocked when people start calling for masks and social distancing to be made permanently "for our safety."
