I've been working on peak transing a few friends of mine. It's slow work since they're deep in the woke cult and there's a lot of bullshit to unravel but it's heartening that so far, they seem downright relieved to be able to voice their doubts. And they have a lot of doubt. There's a lot of cognitive dissonance involved in being a trans ally, which is probably why they all overcompensate so hard in public. It reminds me of secretly gay homophobic preachers. One of them, a pronoun-in-bio person, told me he doesn't understand the nonbinary thing even though he's tried so hard, and he said it in a tone like he was confessing a great sin.
It made me wonder - what's everyone's read on where normie opinions are headed? It might be wishful thinking on my part but it really does seem like there's a backlash building and that there's increasingly public scrutiny on these issues in a way there wasn't before. I fully admit that this is personal bias speaking, but everyone in my social circle is absolutely sick of the toxicity of trans activists and their increasingly incoherent claims, even those who are still chanting "trans women are women". Because now it's more like "Yes, trans women are women buuuuut... [insert something about women's sports/children transitioning/transbians bullying lesbians/autistic troons ruining online spaces]".

The general opinion hasn't changed that much, and I wouldn't expect that it ever will. But nevertheless I believe that we're at the end of this trans business. Gender fuckery is just the hot topic for wannabe activists right now. But the wannabe activists never stays focused for long and will soon find another more important issue and will forget about troons, just like everyone forgot about the deaf, people in wheelchairs and cerebral palsy which were the hot topics when I was growing up.

For many it's either socially or politically expedient to tow the line, so that's what they do. No-one wants a three-day shitstorm on their personal Facebook profiles.
The cohort before that, let's say 20 - 40 or so, contains the true believers. You know, the blue-haired crowd. Also the attack posse in the example given above. Desperate to be seen as hip and with it, they've latched on to this to bring some action into their very mundane lives. This is my starting point, by the way, so I'm dissing myself here as well. It took me a good 10 years to cut through my cognitive dissonance, so I am willing to give a lot of leeway to people on this.
BUT, this I see with (particularly) my male hetero friends - most of them stay out cuz they were told to stay out. They think it all doesn't make sense, but are not invested in it enough to feel they need to speak on the subject. PL, but I spent a lot of time in left-wing circles, and we were always told to butt out of feminism, cuz "no uterus no opinion", so the takeover of the new queer / woke / whatever- ideology went over a lot of people's heads. As in, it's up for the women to suss this one out. I've had this discussion over beers with the lads and that's pretty verbatim what they tell me.
In other words, most of this shit doesn't pass the sniff-test. The minute you start actually explaining what stuff like self-id means; what it means for women's sports; that they're putting male-born rapists in female prisons...you sow the seed of doubt. And then the whole construct starts collapsing, because the minute you can see the scaffolding, it falls in on itself. It relies on you being unaware.
For instance, most men, straight and gay, will recognize the inherent unfairness of allowing TIMs in women's sports - we saw it all through our childhood. Pic very much related, fucking peak-trans tool right there.
So rate me optimistic. On Shitter today, Boyz magazine in the UK linked tonights "Gay Spot" online get-together by the LBG Alliance saying, "at least hear what they have to say". Cue a million angry trannies and self-hating gay men, but it seems significant, even if they did recant later.
Because it shows the outside world that there are cracks in the edifice. More and more gays and lesbians are disavowing the QT+-shitheads publicly, which means the normies can tell that there is disagreement on all of this. Which leads to more awkward questions.
We can't expect normies to trawl the internet for the grossest stuff, like the superstars on this channel, but I do bring a lot of it into the real world, and that shit don't fly. Normies smell the crazy as well.
So keep doing what you're doing, @How Do You Do Fellow Kids , because it is working. Of course, it wouldn't work if troons weren't all batshit insane, but normies only see the polite surfaces, not the dirty shit going on underneath, so we have to keep exposing it. On a related note, "LGBTQ"-activists threw a major shitfit at a major publishing house these last few days because Jordan Peterson is publishing a new book. Basically, the employees cried at the terror! of someone publishing a different opinion, and Vice duly took out their notebook and uncritically published statements from four anonymous sources, of which one, in particular, claimed the "LGBTQ"-status as, well, the entirety of their argument. So this little event is feeding the resistance against both the woke "racism is the new anti-racism"-faction as well as the TQ+-shitheads. Couldn't have done it better myself.
