I think maybe we just stop trying to force them, and be more lax about it like we were in the 90s, and early 2000s.

A girl wants to be a mechanic when she grows up? Sure, let her.

A guy wants to be a fashion designer when he grows up? All the power to him.

Now forcing the two of them into those careers against their will? That's the problem.
[laughs in second wave feminism]
the situation -- women can decide to send men off to die for them -- is still fucked up.
That's always been the case, though, in some form-- men are sent to protect the land, and in particular, their wives and children.
At least they didn't mention black people this time
You wanna talk about black women?

Can someone explain to me what part of 230 offends him so much? If Twitter is adulterating his tweets, that means they're a platform acting as a publisher, which means they've already broken safe harbor. So if he wanted to sue Twitter, he already could.

Trump legit does not understand that silicon valley is doing the job the US constitution prohibits the government from doing. Controlling the speech and thoughts of the American people. He assumes section 230 is what allows them to do this, and not the expressed desire of the Federal Government he was ostensibly elected to lead.

Anyone who thinks there is any daylight between Google, Twitter, and the US Government is deluding themselves. The technocrats in DC merely outsourced the censoring the same way they outsourced the steel industry. John in Langley Virginia cannot stop you tweeting your mind, but Pajeet in Gujarat can. Trump being an outsider simply did not understand the nature of the game and he reacted far too slow to do anything about it.

I also learned that screenshots from random people on Twitter are now valid evidence in a court of law.

I guess I am going to court tomorrow when I am not made secretary of defense since Twitter screenshots are now evidence in a court of law
I for one welcome our new secretary of defense, brother.
Name a worst age, I challenge you
I dunno, the ones where no one had proper plumming sure were shit.

I'm certain that zoomers are a lost cause, and I think the same will be true for gen alpha but even worse, younger generations are very demoralized and for good reason. I really don't think there's any efficient way to fix that, just hope that things are better in a few decades from now so that the next generations won't be so rightfully depressed and/or braindead.
Defund, restructure, and reform the public K-12 school system. I've been screaming this at the void for years but that's probably the single most effective path to effective change under a government that's fully aiming to get its shit together. You wanna know who to blame for these last few generations' worth of spinelessness and idiocy? State governments, which pipeline the curriculums for public schools and universities, and the federal government by proxy in terms of actually funding them on the taxpayer's dime. Civics was removed from the K-12 curriculum in the 1960's and hasn't been reinstated since. You ever wonder why these kids are brainless and clueless when it comes to understanding how this government's republic works? School is deliberately made boring and a chore; the kids then fill their brains with other forms of entertainment like sports, menial work, or most often, pop culture. As a result, America's youth is not only underperforming compared to their international counterparts, but this sloth is encouraged by the pipeline and the ho-hum rote memorization routine baked into a holdover system from the Industrial Revolution meant to produce obedient, blue-collar workers. These demoralized kids are then fed straight into the current pozzed university system, creating more consumers to take on student debt, helping to keep higher education on life support.

If you want to more directly address demoralization, completely pull the plug on Hollywood and the current mainstream entertainment industry. It's past the point of salvaging and anyone with three functioning brain cells should realize it's a blatant propaganda machine with direct political ties to Washington D.C. and the military industrial complex. You think it's any sort of coincidence that all these actors and celebrities are Democrat mouthpieces more often than not?

You want a real doompill? Here's a real doompill.

Things will only get "better" in a few decades if there's enough due diligence in moving forward to cleaning and reforming the institutions; McCarthy at the earliest from what I gather recognized Communist actors in play as early as the 1950's, and as others have noted with former California Governor Brown being a central cog in the Democrat machine operating as far back as the 60's as well, there are strong implications that American pop-culture has been pozzed for longer than most posters here have been alive. By extension, this suggests that Communist media influence has been felt throughout the world at least as far back beginning approximately 60 years ago.

How much effort do you think it'll take to undo all this damage? How much time? Months? Years? Decades? Whether it's real or not, some posters here have tried to convey arguments of fraud to their family members, friends, colleagues only to be met with a blank retort. I'd bet you top dollar that some of the most retarded contrarian trolls in this thread, compromising the majority of the fuckwits in the happenings thread, the entirety of the TES thread, hell, I'd go so far as to say that at least 70-80% of this entire forum's base is afflicted with some form of cognitive or ideological distortion, major or minor as a result of systemic unconscious Pavlovian conditioning from sources of Western origin.

The real issue is defining moral values, and that's the role religion and a core family unit were always intended to provide. Good fucking luck trying to build that back. The Civil Rights Movement of the 60's leading to the (intentional) rise of the puppet Religious Right was always intended to not only destroy but raze and torch that path back upwards. Infiltration of the LGBTQ+ movement into the Church. Check. Advocacy of feminism still going strong into its third and fourth wave incarnations already horribly mutated from its original stance. Check. Promotion of narcissism through language mutation (introduction of words like selfie, toxic, simp, etc. etc. into the modern vernacular), and the proliferation of platforms and apps that allow for and highlight narcissistic behavior (practically every social media platform and forum in existence, but especially including apps like TikTok (now relisted on the App Store despite it being very publicly delisted only two months ago), Instagram, Twitch, etc.). Check.

The fact that the Trumpists are flocking to alt tech with every intention to stay should be very worrying. People do hedge their bets, and are waiting for the moment the trifecta legacy media, tech conglomerates, and institutions fall so that once a power vacuum occurs, they'll be the ones to latch onto positions in whatever the new hierarchy's supposed to be. Astute RINOs aware of the power shift will play their cards wisely and keep their heads under the table waiting for an opportune moment to pop back up. Mass media proliferation will continue for a while with an alternative slant, only for the system to slowly rot yet again.

And on the international stage, certain global actors are readily waiting for certain countries to take the fall behind the scenes of this whole staged political drama to be able to swoop in and secure power and influence later.

Regardless of what happens during this election cycle, one thing is most definitely certain; you've have to be a complete sped to not realize that the definition of current day normalcy is a myth and that the status quo is about to irrevocably change.

The best way to prevent this election cycle drama from happening again is to pull the plug on practically everything you've known so far, and to accomplish that requires this whole election's results being turned on its head.

The catch?

That's probably what whoever masterminded this series of events intended.

More or less this: Granted, Pajeet in Gujarat moved to DC a few years ago, so the "outsourced" people are now being more directy integrated into all of... this (whatever the hell you would call everything DC, Langley, and Big Tech do together).

I've taken a step back from all of this since election day to think on things. You accused me of being a keyboard warrior for saying I would fight, but that was in the context of my assuming Trump would win and things would kick off immediately.

I am a veteran of the Iraq war. When I say I fought in a civil war, I mean this literally. I've had men look me in the eyes as I sent them them to Camp Cropper because their neighbors accused them of thought crimes. I was a dumb kid back then with absolutely no appreciation for what I was doing. Or what I did. I know precisely what is going on because I was a part of it. For a few months I got to wear the jack boot.

What disturbs me is that what I saw in Iraq is now playing out here. In America. Far from learning what we did in the middle east for the last twenty fucking years was a massive mistake an entire generation of intelligence and military professionals have decided to treat America like they did Iraq and Afghanistan. A battlefield of information, culture and pure unadulterated power grabbing. The war ended for me, but it has not ended for the men and women who never left.

I've reached a horrifying conclusion. They view Americas democracy the same way they viewed Iraqs and Afghanistans. Petty tools for getting what they want.

The problem is the Constitution only regulates the government; as the Founders could not imagine a private company with the power of a government, nor one that would do a political party’s bidding.

Fuck, if you just want to have sex, then even if you don't want to bother with dating apps or have trouble with that for some reason, you can easily just save up some money and go get a hooker with a quick Google search. Even CWC managed to figure that one out.

If fucking Chris-chan of all people can get laid, than the typical incel has no excuse for why he can't get his rocks off.
Honestly, that's the biggest casualty of COVID. Dating apps will get you swamped with women below your range and scammers if you're a guy. I keep getting fat chicks and insecure uggos when I could get someone with a decent BMI at a bar or work.

Yes, but this also fits into a clear pattern that trump has done the last 4 years. I'm way more inclined toward it being button pushing over emotional tantrum given that pattern.
People have been memeing away all his mistakes and shortcomings as 4d chess for over 4 years now. I think at this point it's obvious this is just a dumb emotional tantrum to #diaperdon trending on Twitter.

Another problem is they didn't anticipate massive fraud, if you read the Constitution it becomes clearly evident that they only anticipated for a tie breaker, which explains why the Trump Team are doing everything they can to prevent certification (among other obvious reasons). They're in a position where they have to jury rig a tie breaking rule into a ramshackle, makeshift method of fighting fraud. The Constitution needs an amendment specifically for handling voter fraud and how to proceed in dealing with it. The fact they're having to fight so hard just to get an audit in PA just goes to show how inefficient and ill-equipped the system is at dealing with fraud, it's almost like watching an immune system try to fight a new class of disease.

So today I was a bit saddened at Thanksgiving. Luckily, most of the talk avoided the election, but I heard bits here and there. My immediate family is calling Trump stupid for not conceding and one of my in-laws is convinced that Trump challenging the election is similar to Xi getting rid of presidential term limits in China. I was so tempted to say that if Democrats can go on for four years about Russian election interference and have an investigation about it, Republicans deserve the same rights to question this election with regards to fraud. I’m not sure what the outcome of the election will be, but it made me annoyed of how easily swayed people are by the media. I’m all for equal opportunity and if the situation were flipped, Democrats would be calling for recounts and audits left and right.

1) They would have never expected the people to bend over backwards to the likes of a megacorporation or an oppressive government and
2) They would have never expected the people would allow the government to get away with its abuses by turning the Constitution inside out by claiming it's a "living-breathing" document that magically changes with the time.

I'd rather neither side starts fucking with that to give them an edge in the elections.

They still failed to anticipate fraud, which is a huge exploit they should've seen coming from a mile away, considering they just came away from a brutal war no-doubt filled with underhanded tactics and espionage.
