So that's it? this is what millenials and early GenZ grumble about? fucking nothing?It is true that relationships between the Pilgrims and the Natives soured after the first Thanksgiving, the Pilgrims wanted to convert the Natives to Christianity and abhorred the religious practices the Natives had, they wanted the Natives to follow the laws they set instead of the laws that were already in place, and sharing the land was difficult to put it very mildly. These tensions were more complex than just "The Pilgrims were all villainous and bloodthirsty," but studying all the details of why the Pilgrims and Natives failed to live peacefully forever is harder than just boiling it down to a cartoonish Good VS Evil scenario.
