I also don't use discord and only watch from the sidelines so I can only give you a basic take.
Certain streamers (e.g. Captain Content) and their diehard fans organize on discord to brigade/bot IP2 posts to cancel other streamers or create a narrative. It is all very autistic and causes a permanent state of paranoia. Additionally desktop/podcast streamers like Attila are heavy discord users. And as we all know, IP2 hates desktop streamers. I don't know about the pedo angle but there is probably some truth to it. Discord is known for it and some of the more degenerate streamers (like Jacob who talked about fucking 14 year olds in Mexico) are highly suspect.
