Huh. Now that I think about it, I wonder why the Democrats have historically been so adept at keeping a majority in the House.

Tens of millions of dollars well spent eh Nancy? Jeeze, she probably should have saved her donors the trouble and just told her operatives to "fix" things exponentially more.

Armpit doesn't show up as much and the Turk is just dumb with his trolling, very low effort.
HHH is a old member, so he has some favoritism.

I read all his posts and they're total shit. However, out of respect for his seniority, I never rate or refute them. Same with APC who I like because of his Tuscangarder trolling.

It's because the House of Representatives represent the people, and lots of people live in cities, and people who live in cities vote Democrat, in general.

The period during the 20th century where the Democrats dominated the House was mostly because they broadly appealed to working class voters in those days. That huge drop in 1994 (the Republican Revolution) is the result of the Clinton gun bans enforced earlier that year and the start of the Democratic Party moving towards focusing on wealthy urban voters, which killed their appeal in rural areas.

Democrats actually dominated the House far more back in the 20th century when the population was much less urban. Their platforms just shifted in a way that hurt them.

Like others have probably mentioned, back in 2018-2019, everyone felt Trump would win because the DNC didn't have a strong set of candidates to go against him and the economy was booming while a lot of the Woke Left's idiocy was alienating the masses more and more while the "Blue Wave" of 2018 turned out to be a purple splash that motivated the GOP to actually at least attempt to work with Trump

Even as late as January 2020, it was obvious that everyone felt Trump would win to the point that the Dems were more concerned about making sure Bernie cucked out so Biden could get in as a jobber and do the least amount of downballot damage.

A Trump reelection would've been the kind of thing that would've forced the Democratic Party to purge the Woke Left and make both parties realign under normal circumstances.

Then COVID-19 happened and threw a monkey wrench into everything, the BLM coup that began in late May complicated things even further.
Considering the far Left's answer to the Democrats getting destroyed down ballot was to insist the party needs to go further Left Trump winning probably would have caused them to seize more power not less.

The BLM rioting was what stopped the GOP from being destroyed down ticket. A lot of people vote based on the economy and COVID-19 destroyed Trump's chances on that basis, but after seeing months of BLM rioting voters didn't give the Democrats many gains down ticket in the way Obama did in 2008. They outright lost seats in the House over it.

I wouldn't say the doomers are right here because the general "blue wave" didn't happen so a Biden presidency will be pretty powerless to achieve its most radical goals. Additionally affirmative action failed in California by a substantial margin so the public mandate for critical race policies is very small.

Its what I do, rate him MATI and move on.

No, he doesn't miss the point. He obfuscates it quite on purpose.

HHH does not have a single good faith bone in his body.
Aww, poor little Trump simp is mad that someone doesn't love the conman has much as he does

With how much money they get lent, no wonder the DNC is currently a perpetual cycle of ring kissing.

Off-topic, but I seriously don't under the millions of dollars thrown around for "campaigns" assuming the money is going for things like travel expenses, hotel, food, planning events, ad space, etc. and not some legal fund or "slush" fund. Really what difference does it honestly make especially for the Left when they already have the media in their pockets? What purpose is there in needing a candidate to literally go around their district, state, or the country at large and give stump speeches/pep-rallies? I just don't get it.

So the normies all look and think their vote actually counts, and that everything is "normal".

Here’s the thing though, the GA runoffs will decide if the Democrats have the capital to pursue their pet projects. And we know some of the first things they’ll do.

Some of them, certainly. It would be hard for them to get Manchin to vote for court packing or ending the filibuster, though. Winning the Georgia races is a long shot for them since a lot of Democratic voters only turn out for president (hence why Obama did badly in midterms despite being re-elected), but it might happen.
Voting for Dems to fix the economy is like bringing in an exterminator to help your pet tarantula.
While I think Biden is useless, I will point out that the last president to seriously fight the deficit was Bill Clinton.
