Y'know, I came upon this portfolio page for website designers, and it made me realize how much effort are put into these "stock tablet-friendly" designs. Someone spent months on a package full of generic people to put on your website that couldn't possibly offend someone. But jesus christ this thread reminded me that they are indeed made by people, and as such also have the capacity to be straight up bad.

It's highly obnoxious and patronizing to use Fisher Price-esque clipart on software made for adults.

Maybe if these soybugs could grow the fuck up and make their own children, they wouldn't feel the need to push this infantile bullshit on their fellow adults.

Like I said, these Current Year sans-serif fonts look so "clinical" and hi-tech. In other words, cyberpunk dystopia fonts.
